Ooohhh great finds there Sara. I’ve been doing just a little thriftin’ here and there but am thinking of making a run into the city with just this in mind in the next week or so. Sounds kinda silly to spend $15 in gas to go thriftin but die hard thrifters like yourself will understand

I too enjoy the thrift stores. I usually have to stop once a week and see what they have for furniture or any current item on my “wish list.”

I totally appreciate your getting twitchy to go thrifting. There’s just something about heading out and not having any idea what goodies you’ll stumble on that’s exciting.

I so wish that I was close enough to a thrift store that I could go to them.

Unfortunately the closest one to where I’m at is atleast 20-25 miles and with no vehicle, I haven’t been to one in ages.

Those were great finds and I love the crystal vase you found … pretty!

Keep a watch for the innerards to a glass pyrex coffee pot and I’ll send you the shell. Noticed on the coffee addicts thread you’d like to have one. I’ve got the outside if you can find the inside.

Wow, those purchases are beautiful. I love the spice rack. My mom collects tins and that looks like something she would have bought. Do you plan on going back to that other city for future thrifting?

I really like the spice rack you found. Good for you. We have some stores here where I live that hang up the checks that people wrote that bounced in full view. I always have to look to see if I know any of them.
