I am a stay at home mom from Texas. If your child is giving you fits from being in the cart and wants to walk but wanders off, you should try a toddler leash. They come in cute backpacks that can be bought cheap at Wal Mart. This way the child can have freedom but can't wander off or be "snatched". Just slip the end over your wrist and go about your shopping. My son loves his. He feels like a big boy. This has solved a HUGE issue for us and taken away lots of stress from screaming kids.
