We keep one in our minivan at all times and 99.9% of the time it is filled with miscellaneous things like sunglasses, sunscreen, a bottle of water, etc. It's very useful for keeping things from rolling around on the floor. However, it has another very useful quality, for travel emergencies. We've had to use it multiple times for a child to throw up in or you could also use it for an emergency potty seat.
