The straw worked for me years ago when I wasn't a water fan. These days I love water. But it has to be loaded with ice. When my husband bought me (? us LOL) a water cooler, I was hooked.

Michelle, I've never tried frozen wedges, but my guess is I'd love it. I've got a vita mix on my wishlist. I keep hoping I'll stop wanting one. LOL After writing about soy milk makers, I've been feeling un-frugal. What was I thinking? LOL Durgan posted his homemade soy milk on the forums and put me to shame. LOL

I never used to like water, but now I drink it almost exclusively. Try adding frozen lemon, orange, or lime wedges if you're not a big water fan.

I also wanted to mention that in addition to soy milk, rice milk and almond milk are good alternatives to soda.

Hi, my name is Jody and I'm a soda addict.

Although I don't let my kids drink that stuff and my husband rarely drinks pop. I drink alone.

The challenge works best for me. When I feel my intake in getting out of hand I have to force myself to wait a certain amount of time until the next one. I've also forced myself to drink a huge glass of water before I can have another one. It really works - or at least slows me down.

The tip about drinking water out of a straw - that's how I drink my water and (don't laugh) it taste better. Hey, drinking out of a staw is fun and taste better, right?
