		<description>First of all, thanks for helping us all tighten our belts during these tough times.  I have a front loading machine which is susceptable to this problem.  I was told to stop using liquid detergent because it builds up into the sludge that you talked about.  I ran an empty load with just bleach and then switched to dry detergent.  Within a week the smell was gone and has not returned.  It&#039;s been 6 months now and still no return of the smell.  My sister tried this with her top loader and had the same results.  Hope this helps.
