I actually dropped my landline and now am using a prepaid cell phone for everything. The Net10 service is great, I'm pretty sure they even use some Verizon towers. It's unfortunate that it came down to this, but I'm saving a bunch of money in the long run and hopefully I can get back on my feet sooner rather than later because of the cash staying in my pocket. I have found that while shopping at Safeway you can take your cheese to the deli and they will slice and/or shred your cheese for you for free. Also the Meat department will turn a large piece of roast or meat of any kind into smaller pieces or slices for you for free as well. This saves time and money.
