What a neat idea! I would use them as all purpose cards – thank yous, keeping in touch, birthday, etc. – w/ a photo of our sweet kids to boot!
I would use them to stay in touch with friends and relatives. Last year I didn’t have one with our newborn so this offer would be the perfect opportunity to do just that.
If I won, I would create a general card. I love to send cards to family and friends from ‘get well’ to ‘thank you’ to birthday to ‘thinking of you’ cards. I would probably choose a pic of my daughter for the cover. Thanks for having this contest!
I would use them for Christmas! I’ve always wanted to send out Christmas cards to everyone I know so far haven’t managed to come even close. I’d love to do a card with a collage of pictures of our year this year, our vacation, and our many foster kitties.
Awesome Sara! If I won, I would just them as Thinking of You cards. I would send them out to all friends, relatives that we haven’t talked to in a long while because they live so far away. Just a little something to let them know that we think of them always and haven’t forgotten about them.
I would use these to help my husband get his new business going!
I would use them in a variety of ways. I would send them out to my friends and family as I am a dedicated letter writer. I would also use them to promote my craft business by attaching a pair of earrings, bookmark, keychain, or bracelet to the front of the cards.
I would use these for Christmas to send to nursing homes and veteran homes. So many people do not have family and just a card could lighten them up for the holiday.
I would use them to keep in touch with faroff relatives and also to send greetings to people I know who need cheering up and dont have much to look forward too. Also to the people in my mothers nursing home who are always forgotten
christmas cards
Im interested in signing up to host a Feeding America dinner party. These cards would be perfect! I could also use greeting cards for the day to day thank yous for all the wonderful people in my life

I would like to send out cards to everyone in my family, friends from college and back home. Ever since I moved away from my hometown I’ve slowly lost touch with everyone. Even keeping track through email just isn’t the same. This would really help me get back in touch with everyone.
I would design cards to be sent to my troops in Afghanistan, for them to use, to send home to their families and loved ones. Most have no place to buy cards where they are stationed. I have sent envelopes and paper before. Cards would be very nice

I give them to my daughter. She’s moving out this month and since she is very artistic she could make great use of these for Christmas cards.

Thanks for the opportunity!
I would make great use of these by making beautiful artwork (I have a master’s in fine arts) and creating holiday cards to share with friends/family since we are limited on budget due to job loss/unemployment for a whole year now. Terrific idea … especially in our slow economy!
I am basically homebound and have recently started a new craft business. I would use these cards, with appropriate self-designed images to promote my one-of-a-kind items. Also, since I recently relocated 600 miles from ‘home’, it would be fantastic way to keep in touch with relatives and friends … the old-fashioned way — via
snail mail!
I would use my notecards for messages of encourgement, for friends with loss or illness, and for celebration. I have some great photos, so this would be a wonderful opportunity for me!

Thanks for this opportunity, Sara. We do quite a bit of volunteer work. I would use the cards as “encouragement” cards. They would serve to brighten the day of shut ins, the ill, those in institutions, the handicapped, and folks serving in the military, missions, and other foreign fields. I would want the cards to encourage them to not give up, and let them know they are remembered. Thanks!
My husband and I are Outreach Leaders for our Bible Study Class – we write encouraging cards to sick and shut-in members of our church, and also friends and family members of our Class. Each Wednesday, generally 15-22 people from our class gather, eat together and write our cards. This would be a wonderful gift to our ‘mission’.
Didn’t my comment print? Well, I’d use the fabulous uprinting.com by having one of our fabulous wedding photos printed for thank yous and, perhaps, for another reception invite for people on the other side of the country! YAY.
I’d use them to send notes of encouragement to our deployed military personnel.
I would use them and be happy that they were FREE!
I would be very happy to have the notes, so I can send cards for special occasions.
I could really use the 250 cards. I have been using my photos and handmaking my own cards for many years. I send them, gift them and box them up and give them to families that are struggling financially. Have a great day everyone!!!
These would be great to use to keep in touch with family & friends out of state, customer & holidays! These would be wonderful!
I have a 91 year old grama that enjoys getting cards and shows them off to all of her friends at the retirement home she lives in. I have become a weekly writer to her and many of her friends and would enjoys sending custom cards to all of them.
Thank you
i would share some of them with my mom they are retired and only have social security for there income. i would send to all my family and friends and we have a paper route it is always nice to gave them a christmas card for christmas.
I would use them as Christmas cards, and then if I had any left over I would use them as everyday cards to send to people just for a pick me up to brighten someones day.
I love sending ’smile’ or ‘thought of you today’ cards most of all…they’re so unexpected and joyful! I’d have so much fun creating a few cards to have on hand just for that purpose.
~~
I think this is awesone! I have a great use already in mind…I am a team mom for a high school wrestling team and think it would be great if I could print a team photo on the front and have all the teammates write a sweet note to their parents thanking them for all they do. Wresting is not a sport that receives much support from the school, so much is put on to the parents and their really step up from driving the kids 2-3 hours for a tournament, site ALL day to see up to 6 minutes of action, bring meals for the day, and be there to celebrate victory or a shoulder to cry on when they reach defeat. There is nothing like a wrestling parent! Thank you.
I would use them to promote my business. The picture would be the front of my building.
The workplace can be pretty grim these days with layoffs, downsizing, cutbacks, and I would use MY custom cards to share some daily encouragement with my co-workers.remembering birthdays, anniversaries, just giving pats on the back or chin up cards could bless all of us on a daily basis.PLEASE let me win!
I will use the cards as Thank You cards, birthday cards, and note cards–with 250 I can use them for everything!
I would use them to just Keep in touch…with electronic gagets these days I hate not getting letters, I would love to just send little notes from time to time to family and friends letting them know I care!!!
I would use the cards with my Youth group at church! We are always sending notes…. thank you notes, missing you notes, feel better soon notes, etc!
I think it would be great to be able to send their picture with the note! Smiling faces are always a day brightener!
=)

I always loved the picture Christmas cards and greeting cards, but never able to afford them. My daughter is 12, and I would love to give a personal card this year. Haven’t even sent greeting cards in a couple of years due to finances. Seems relatives are so scattered around. It would be nice to send a personal greeting. Also would be able to give to friends in church and nursing homes we visit. Thanks for the chance. michelle Love your newspaper column by the way.
I think everyone should use snail mail more instead of e-mail, etc. a lot of older people still use old ways of doing things. Open the mailbox and find a letter or card from a friend. Old To The Memories.
Well would like to win, used to send out pictures of Wife and I, and all the kids at Christmas. Was about 15 years I did that, untill I retired, now with all the Grandkids it would be great to restart the tradition.
Read the rules, and it sounds like it’s just a matter of numbers, well let my entry drop in just the right spot for selection:D
What a great give away. I would give them the folks in our area who go to the soup kitchen, to let them know they are not forgotten during the holidays.
We have a much-loved tradition of sending a special family photo on our Christmas cards to family and friends each year. For my husband and I to be able to create our own custom cards together with our three amazing daughters would make the tradition even more memorable. Thank you for this opportunity, and for the wonderful information you share with us all!
I would use the cards in a variety of ways.
Thank You,
Dawn
Thanks for another opportunity Sara!
I’d use them to promote my husband’s business, as I’ve mentioned in my posts – we are desperate to market the business with no budget whatsoever! These would allow us to contact businesses, real estate agents and potential clients with a high-end look, for zero dollars!
Will definitely use for Holiday cards. Thanks!
They can be used as Thank You cards, welcome to the neighborhood cards, the church is having a potluck lunch cards. I would use them for all the above mentioned.
I would make christmas cards. I have a lot of family and spend a lot of money buying and mailing out cards every year.
I would make thank you cards to be used at a charity auction I am helping put on this winter. These would be perfect to send to people who donate and/or purchase items at our event.
kerrie@mayansfamily.com
I would love to have these for Christmas. I like to send original cards every year, whether a photo of the family or original artwork by me or my daughter.
Currently I use VistaPrint but I’d love to try this company. I am newly published author getting rave reviews (no, really, and I didn’t even have to use the bribe money I’ve been saving!)and I’d really really love to use these to promote my novel! That would be great. I love using printing companies–they do such great jobs, better than I could ever do!
Great offer…I want to win! I have 5 kids (yes 5!) and I am always looking for cards for them to either write thank you’s or happy birthdays. That is how I would use most of them. Thanks, Liz
I would let my kids write letter to people they know or to grandparents and aunts and uncles who do not live here.
I would make holiday cards using a family photo
I would use them for christmas
I would give them to my daughter for her club at school that is always looking for community service projects. They could send thinking of you and thank you cards to nursing homes, veterans, military, etc.
I would use them for Christmas cards.

My husband and I have alot of relatives all over the country. At the present I send out 3-5 cards a week. I send out get well cards, birthday, congradulations, different holiday cards, and thinking of you cards. Family and friends are important to us and a card last longer than an e-mail or a telephone call.
I would use them to send birthday, thank yous and get well cards to all the kids on my caseload as well as their siblings.
i’d use them for sending thank yous, birthday greetings and keeping in touch with far away friends
I would use these to keep in touch with family and friends. I would probably choose a general type of picture so the cards could be used for most any occassion.
I would use them for everything! Thank you cards, get well cards, Christmas cards, just to say hi, etc. This is a great giveaway!
I’d use these as combined Holiday and Birth Announcements. They’d also be great to update family on our address!
I would use them for Christmas!
This is a great promotion!
I would use the cards as a quick thinking of you type. Its always nice to have a card ready to go when ever I am thinking of someone. I want to brighten their day and let them know if though we all have busy lives someone took the time out of their life to send a card.
Thanks again,
If I was one of the lucky winners, I would use them for keeping in touch with my friends. Emails are wonderful, but I personally think getting something in the mail that was handwritten by a loved one says so much more.
Good luck to everyone!
I would make just because/thinking of you cards with scripture and pretty scenery.
I would send out greeting cards with pictures of my 6 month old Daughter Semira. I have not had time to do this due to just being so busy with baby, husband, work and school. Let alone a few minutes to myself.
I have a ton of birthdays coming up..I would put them too good use.
I would like to use them for wedding invitations!
Although many now send greetings via email, I still like the tactality of sending a greeting for holidays and birthdays and sometimes “Just Because” with a card or note that can be held in the hand and has a hand written note inside. I know that I personally have loved saving greetings from those that are dear to me. It’s hard to save and hold an email. Anyway that’s what I would do with the cards if I won them.
I would probably put a photo that I’ve taken, as I love to photograph my family and things about our local community, It might be my granddaughter or my family or maybe our local Lighthouse that I photograph on a weekly basis with the changes of the seasons.
My daughters think I am personally responsible for keeping the U.S. Postal Service solvent with all the cards I send. LOL!
Thanks for the opportunity to enter!
I will use them as Christmas Card send-outs with a pic. of my boys!
Thanks for the giveaway…
We would use them for Xmas / New Year’s greetings, customized with family photos…
I’d use the cards to keep in touch with friends & family throughout the year. E-mail is quicker, but not as precious as a handwritten keepsake.
I would use them as greeting cards for the upcoming holiday season.
i would get Christmas cards since it’s coming up, fast!
This great offer would be a wonderful way to share a picture of the beauty of our home island with our friends from around the world. I love sending out cards for all reasons and occasions and wouldn’t this be a new and different way to share!!

Cut back on products you don’t need
As a society, we’re fortunate — so much so that we’ve become gluttonous. Wants and needs have become blurred. We’ve become conditioned to believe we need many things. Some people might even think chocolate is a food group. But in all seriousness, we’ve forgotten that we live in the land of options. Modern life is different from basic life. But many of the convenience products we enjoy have …

Use up evaporated milk

In the back of the pantry, you might find a couple of cans of evaporated milk that are close to expiring. It typically lasts about a year unopened in the pantry and once opened and refrigerated, you have about a week to use it. It’s wonderful when used in mashed or scalloped potatoes, coffee or tea, scrambled eggs, pies or French toast, to a name few.
