PetSmart Favorite Affordable Solutions for Pets Contest Giveaway
This contest is now closed

If you’re a pet owner, you want to keep your pet healthy and happy. Pet boredom, finding the right nutrition for dogs and cats, and keeping pets looking and feeling good throughout the year are quandaries many pet parents face throughout pet parenthood. How do we solve these pet predicaments? “Interactive toys help exercise pets’ minds and prevent depression, keeping them happy throughout the day,” said Dr. Robyn Jaynes, veterinarian and pet care expert at PetSmart. “These toys also serve as a distraction from many unwanted behaviors, including chewing, digging, excessive barking or scratching. Toys such as Kongs for dogs and chaser toys for cats are wonderful solutions for pet parents who want to distract their pets or have a pet that easily becomes bored and just needs something to do.”
And of course you want to provide your pet with a nutritious diet and have them look good, too. PetSmart offers Advanced nutrition foods and Pet Head grooming products to make them look and feel their best inside and out.
PetSmart has generously offered these solutions for your fur baby.
One lucky Frugal Village reader will win the following:
1. A Kong toy and Kong paste for dogs or a cat chaser toy for cats.

With 4 greyhounds in the house, this would come in handy!
We love to use Kongs for our guy with Degenerative Myelopathy. Because he can’t move well, his walks are much shorter; so a Kong filled with yummies gives him the mental stimulation he needs.
What a great contest. Thanks Sara and PetSmart.
1Dogs, dogs and more dogs. I’ll tell just about one of mine…The Colonel. Here are a few of his noteable eats…he has eaten 2 library books, 1 coffee maker, 1 iPod docking station, 1 stainless steel bowl (ok just puncture holes), and a turkey right out of the oven! He certainly keeps it interesting!
2Very nice giveaway!!
We have Toby, our 7 year old lab. He is a 110 lb lap dog and the biggest goober ever! His favorite thing is the basketball he stole from our son. It has no air left in it and he plays with it all day long!
3I have 2 dogs Charlie 2 year old chocolate lab and Baby 6 month old black lab. It is very interesting around here with these 2 lap dogs. They love toys and we all love to take a visit to out new local PetSmart. Never won anything but I still try… maybe someday.
4We have a collection of (mostly) rescued dogs and a couple of cats. We also have plenty of space for them all. They are all wonderful, funny, great companions! One of the best things about having strays and mixed heritage dogs is discovering their idiosyncrasies. And being very surprised to see what the puppies grow into as adults.
5We just added a senior rescue dog, Radar, to our family. this tiny Chihuahua joins an American Staffordshire terrier, two cats and a Guinea pig. I am looking forward to finding some new toys to keep him happy!
6I have one dog, a mighty but tiny Chihuahua named Sugar. One of her favorite things to do is drag out all of her toys, just like a child would do and place them all around my chair. She also has one bad habit of eating hair, so she gets hairballs just like a cat does. However, we love her.
7I have two dogs a pom and a berenese and would love to win Thanks for the contest
8We have two Goldens and two cats. The cats favorite activity is chasing the dogs around. They run our house
Thanks!
9My kitty loves kneading soft things. Lots of times my expensive sweaters. So when retiring a couple of sweaters I now save them to make cat toys. One hit was a red sweater. I cut the cuffs off and sewed one end, stuffed it with some sweater pieces and catnip. Then sewed the other end tight. She loves playing with it and since it is red seems to like it better.
10I own a dog. Every morning she climbs out of her bed and into ours, and goes back to sleep. She then wakes up, usually after about 20 minutes, and starts licking my face until I let her out. It’s not so bad, because she’s a Jack Russell. Better than an alarm clock, that’s for sure!
11oh my dog would enjoy that kong toy…she tears up every “non destrucable toy” i have found! she’s a black lab mix with a birthday coming up on the 22nd…what a nice b-day gift for her!!
12We have a dog and he loves it when I put peanut butter in his kong. The problem is, he likes to hide his kong, which means I frequently can’t find it. Another one would be perfect.
13Our beagle, Brandy is 8 yrs old. She keeps us laughing at all her antics, especially when she is trying to get our attention. We take Brandy to Petsmart to have her nails clipped. Finally, she doesn’t seem to mind it anymore and we don’t get stressed out about it either. She loves seeing all the pets walking around the store.
14Thank you Petsmart!
I have 2 dogs.
15Zorro a Pekingese that was abandoned at the Vet clinic that I fostered. It was plain to see we were so attached that he was home to stay! =) He LOVES treats but doesn’t have a Kong which would keep him busy.
Cassie is a rescue dog too! She’s a Shep/Collie/Hound mix and has a nose for trouble! =) While they both have alot of toys, they can never have too many! Her favorite toy is her “Blue Bone” a rubber bone that I stuff treats into. However it’s starting to break apart from all of the chewing to find the prize inside so she could really use a Kong to keep her stimulated! They are both wonderful companions and are spoiled rotten, always pampered and a great addition to the family!
Thanks to Frugal Village and Petsmart for a GREAT contest!
We rescued an older Birman cat, Prissy. She is like the mayor of our house. She greets and inspects each visitor to our house and is very fascinated by humans. When she hears the vacuum cleaner, she will actually run TOWARD it to get vacuumed! She is a very endearing and remarkable pet.
16I have adopted three dogs and four cats. I love all my pets, mostly because they are all special. The first dog we have is a 13-14 year old black lab/boxer mix. She is a very good guard dog. McKenzie is a very sweet dog, never vicitous, but her bark is very intimidating. Rocky, our second dog, was found abandoned near a pond. We adopted him because his whole liter was later found near the pond. The third dog, Buster, was adopted because as a chocolate lab, he was too much for his owners.
17We have a rescue dog named LUCKY.He’s a poodle/terrier mix.
18He’s cost us hundreds in vet bills but very lovable and a bit wild.
He’ll chew on anything left around…toys, cords, shoes, his own water bowl and dug himself out of the backyard fence.
With two Cats These products would be great. I have purchased the kong cat toys in the past and they love them. As we aren’t home with our beloved fur babies as we would like any products to pass the time while “mom and dad” are gone helps…
19Oh my… My 3 cats would love to win these prizes!!!! (As well as I, of course) Thank you soooooo much!!! Scully loves her floppy feathered toys, Fox likes bubbles & laser lights & Lykon likes anything that moves & playing fetch with his mice. Thank you again
20I own one cat. Or, rather, he owns me. He’s one of the biggest reasons I’ve been making it through my separation from my husband. Everybody seems to love Parker. He’s very friendly and will go up to almost anybody to get petted/scritched. One of my favorite things about him (there are so many!) is the little sounds he makes. He’s a talker, but also he makes various different sounds (my friend says some of those sounds are like “cute alien sounds” from various different movies)… it’s so cute.
21My german shephard puppy Annie would love this. She chews everything and is gaining about 5 lbs every two weeks. We would love to be a part of this give away
22We are a pet friendly family – beagle dog; calico cat – she’s the princess in our house; feral cat, turned house cat, and little “sister” to our beage; iquana; parrot and fish. Oh, and almost forgot the hamster – named big bill.
23We have two dogs two cats and 4 turtles. We love all of our pets very much and don’t know what we would do without them. Would love to win this contest to spoil our pets. They add so much interest and playfulness to our lives. They truly are a blessing.
24I have a puppy named Lola. She’s a really sweet girl, but she CHEWS. We go through a few Kong Toys a year. Her favorite toy is an old rubber tire off of a broken kid’s ticycle. Fortunately, they come in sets of three!
25wow great for all the dogs I have
26I have 4 grand dogs , who just adore Granny bringing toys and home made biscuits , and 1 grand dog that knows every time I bake something , he’s knows exactly where the treats are , the best part is when I bring the toys all wrapped out with a wrapping paper and bows , and then the joy of seeing them open the presents , I get the best joy from my Grand dogs , I may not have grandchildren , but I have the best of 2 worlds , my 4 Grand dogs ..
27I have 3 poms and a small mixed breed, They love their toys and you can never have too many Kongs. Our oldest pom Mitzi loves peanut butter in hers. Since we have furry grandkids who visit and stay with us alot there are slight disagreements about toys and Kongs. We do get them worked out. Love all them.
28We have 9 dogs, in all shapes, sizes, breeds and ages — all rescued in one way or another. They romp and play in our acre and a half, completely privacy-fenced, yard. At least 4 of them sleep on the bed with us at night. They play with (and eat) mostly fuzzy toys and love tug of war and ripping them apart. Whenever we buy toys, we have to buy 9 of them! It’s getting very expensive. A Kong would at least help with the expense because it would probably last longer than the fuzzy toys. We buy most of our toys and food at the new PetSmart in our neighborhood. Thanks to PetSmart for the new store and for the contest. May the best 9 dogs win!
29We have Ofie, which is Chickasaw for dog. She’s a beautiful brindle boxer with a grrrreat sense of playfulness and gives lots of love. Thank you for letting me say how thankful we are for her. Great giveaway from frugal village and PetSmart. Thank you.
30We have two Jug pups….. mama and baby and they both love nothing more than to lay up on the back of the couch and watch out the windows, especially when it’s time for Mom to get home from work at the end of the day!
31We live on the “Rez” and have adopted many many abandoned pets. They were starving and now they are healthy and happy and have new homes in which they are cared for and loved. No one should ever abandon a pet, nor should they not feed them and expect them to fend on their own.
32I have a Basset/Springer cross named Charlie. He’s 11 years old and some days shows his age. However, he completely forgets how old he is when he sees rabbits, deer, or some other animals that he can chase. Right now, he’s warming my lap, snuggled under a blanket and snoozing away…
33I have a Shelby (Mini Pinscher)…she is 11 years old and she has had a Teddy Bear since she was 3 months old…and she still loves on her bear everyday! We call him her Sugar Bear.
34We had three retired greyhounds. Although our babies are gone, I am happy to say that my parents have a 1 year old American Cocker Spaniel. He is something else. My parents are 76 and 80 and their little fellow has brought them so much love and joy. He absolutely loves playing with toys. I would love to give this to Buddy for Christmas.
Thanks for all the wonderful give-aways that you do Sara. And thank you too, Petsmart for these give-aways.
35with 5 dogs and 2 cats this offer sounds wonderful. my dogs love to run run run. but once they’ve finally worn out their favorite thing is digging peanut butter out of a kong, or out of an empty peanut butter jar:)
36I have 1 dog…Bella a black lab mix just over a year old. She is my baby girl she loves to “gut” any stuffed animal we give her but she still plays with them anyway.
37I also have 3 cats, Blanket he is almost 16 yrs old, Tiny is about 9 and Cocoa is 5 he is my cuddle cat he loves to sleep with me.
People say we don’t have cats , they act way too much like dogs to be cats, they meet you at the door , they don’t hide.
I also love petsmart, do alot of shopping there.
Thanks
Where else can you always find unconditional love except from your pets? They deserve that love returned to them alone with care for their well being. We have a cat, named Flash, that gives us a world of amusement and furry cuddles. We would be lost without him. Thanks for the great products PetSmart, and the chance to win a great giveaway too.
38We have a dog, dachshund named Gretchen whom we adopted last month from the animal shelter. She loves to chew!! A Kong toy would be an awesome toy for her because it’s so hard to keep her supplied with items to chew (she either chews them up or buries them and we can’t find them).
Thanks for offering the contest!
39I have 2 terriers, Jack and Jade. They love to run around my little farm and hunt for any kind of prey that is smaller than they are like grasshoppers. Sure would like to win this contest.
40I would love this for my jack russell, he’s such a great dog and surely isn’t a terror. He’s been with us for 6 years and we love him to death. How funny we adopted him from the pound and his name is Jack. We call him Jack the lazy dog cause he loves to sleep and cuddle with mommy.
41Oh how fun! Our silly doggy would love a new toy!!!
42Have two lovable dogs. One a black Lab/Aussie mix must always be between her humans and any potential danger…seems we are her herd. The other is a Golden/Aussie mix and dutifully follows her humans…must be close and providing love.
43MiniPin named BB & he is 4 years old, we also have a 3 year old lab mix named Spike.
BB loves to play tug of war and snuggle under millions of blankets LOL.
Spike loves to play catch with a ball and brings it back for more.
we have 2 kittens with so much energy named Wiskers and Isabella. 1 cat 14yrs old named KeKe.
44Two poodles live in our house. A toy and A miniature. It is the miniature poodle that gets bored to pieces. He loves being played with and, as you know, you just can’t do that all day. Thanks for the chance.
45My hubby and I are owned by two rescue females, the pit mix is our nana dog she takes care of everyone including our two grandsons. They think she is the BEST. Our other little one is a frenchbull-pug mix she just loves everyone, plus she snorts, snores and lets go of wind (farts as our grandsons Kaden says). They have given us lots of love and laughs and they would love some treats.
46I have three cats – Charlie is 17, George is 5 and Jules is 7 months. They all love to eat, of course. George and Jules love to break the traffic laws in the house by running around and not stopping. They are all very dear to us.
Genny
47We have two cats. Our daughter loves dressing one of our cats up in costumes and the cat doesn’t seem to mind! We’d love to receive the gifts!
48well, both cats and a dog. But this I’ll say a dog. The cats are too picky.
49I have a sheltie puppy, 8 months , and a crabby cat. The puppy is a ball of energy , who thinks the the world is his personal playground. He loves the cat who swats him regularly just for the heck of it.
50We have cats. One has extreme allergies. Her nose is always dripping. We have tissues where she sleeps and she has now learned to sleep with her nose right on top of the tissue for easy clean up.
51Nothing like blowing the nose of a cat!
we have the pleasure of owning one all black little kitty we call Harryette, and our recent addition Bullseye, a sweet little puppy, he’s a coon hound. It took a bit for our kitty to get accustomed to having a puppy in the house, but she seems to have adjusted well to him. We are always on the look out for new toys and treats for them. This is a great contest, I’m glad i received an email about it.
52I have a Pomeranian who thinks that she is a diva human princess, and four naughty cats. Aspen, the Pomeranian, understands C-A-R B-Y-E and L-E-A-S-H and W-A-L-K, even though we spell them in front of her. She is way too smart for her own good, and loves to clean our dinner plates when we are finished with them.
53I’m the proud mommy of one furkid kitty Merlin, We adopted him on Mother’s day last year, He is a big lovable baby our favorite thing to do with him is have him chase the laser light across the living and dining room. and the end of the game he gets a treat. And at night he snuggles up to me on the pillow. He is a truly loving fur baby.
54When my youngest is taking a bath he like to dip his tail in the water an splash it around shocked me the first time I seen him do that..
.-= Laura´s last blog ..Booville Bash~ Spooktacular shows =-.
We raise Shih Tzu’s and the one toy that all puppies enjoy is the kong chew toy.
55Great for my pets. I have 2 maltese dogs and 1 cat. What nice gifts. I would love to get it. I have tried every shampoo for my dogs out there and their coats still tangle. I love trying out anything new.
56My name is Lucinda and my family and I have two Jack Russell Terriers, Sherwood and Charlotte. Charlotte is a lover- she loves hugs and attention. Sherwood is a little demon. He is hyper and likes to chase toys and play fetch. Charlotte is not into toys, only treats. We hope we win, so we can spoil our babies! Thanks!
57I have one dog (Sparky) 2yr. Beagle/Jack Russel mix and one cat (Tigger) 11 yr. American short haired and they both love to play with toys so this would be great for them. Thanks for the contest (:
58We have one dog, mixed breed but with a good bit of terrier. Loves to dig and climbs our 4 feet fence. Her name is Desi, after a missionry friend.
59We have Bridget the 3 year old English Bulldog. her favorite activity is chasing our cat Bandit! She jumps up on the counch and then bounds down off the arm of the couch to the floor! runs in a big fast circle and does it all over again, till she poops out! Very agile for a bulldog!
60My shih tzu, Suzie, loves bunny rabbit toys. I get a bunch of them on clearance after Easter and they last until next Easter.
61We have a boxer she loves stuffed animals. She loves treats
62i have a dog and she loves to be brushed
63I have 1 cat named, Joey, as you know. He’s a spoiled brat, but he’s a cutie. Always looking to snuggle, and constantly walking across my laptop or sitting on my sewing patterns when I’m trying to use them LOL
64With 8 cats, a German Shepherd dog, and 2 bunnies. One of our cats, Mick, is a complete toy lover!
65We have one dog and two kittens. Elsa, the dog is incredible active, so it’s a good job we live on an acreage. she loves running after anything we throw for her. We adopted her last year, and we got her were told that she was a ‘cat killer’. However, three months ago I decided to get two kittens, and within a week of intensive training, Elsa accepted the two little furballs. they are now best buddies and love playing together.
66Hi ! I am owned by the nuttiest Daschund, Toby. He absolutely loves “stuffies”, but chews them up and destroys them in one day. Likes to play fetch when he’s in the mood, but you can’t bribe him into it, if he’s not. I shop at Petsmart whenever I can, but the closest one to us is at least 30 miles away. Toby’s never had a Kong, but I’d love to get one for him. Thanks to Debra, and Thank You, Petsmart !
67We have two labs. They love to empty out their toy box each day. One of them is a female 5year old yellow fully trained lab who was a breeder for Guidedogs of America, the other is a black 11 month old female daughter of the yellow who is also going to become a breeder for Guidedogs.
68My little Shih Tzu Carmel is truly royalty. He loves the Kong chew toys and naps. Oh and did I say he loves naps?? He can be a little stinker but we wouldn’t have it any other way. If we win this prize we can treat him like the king he is..after he wakes up from his nap!
69I have 2 dogs and they love treats namely busy bones and little ceasers.
70We have 3 dogs and 3 cats. They keep each other company and love each other but can always use additional fun! We have a rescued girl named Izzy who is finally realizing that she has a fabulous family of pet buddied but also people. She was neglected and abused before she came to us. this weekend we were at a cabin and packing to go. Izzy was crying as she thought we were leaving her behind. Her buddy Scooby came to us whining as if to say “don’t forget Izzy” They were both happy to hop into yhe truck! Life would be so dull without all of them.
71I have only one cat but i sure do love him…!!!
72We have three rescue animals, one dog and two cats. Luckycat loves to go outside in the gazebo and be ‘outside’. Of course the cats are NEVER outside unless they are in the gazebo. Our dog has a fenced in yard and a doggie door. He thinks everyone should have a doggie door and not have to be let outside.
73We had 4 cats but lost 3 in the last year and half. It was hard to lose Mittens (I got her a few months after my mom’s murder). But she steadfast became a familar sight on my pillow. To keep her occupied I got Bobcat, my tailless wonder Manx. She was always unique because her lack of tail. I’ve had the two of them for nearly 15 years when we finally got Rosie and Julia, sister kittens we rescued from an overworked stock market trader.
Mittens, at the age of 16, passed shortly after we got the kittens. We discovered later that the kittens had Feline Leukemia (we believe the original owner knew but didn’t tell us) and it took them both pretty quickly. First Julia passed at 9 months and then Rosie at 15 months. It was hard on us all but particularly Bobcat. She was disconsolate for weeks. And while she is doing a bit better, she hates it when we leave, particularly when I go on the road. She’s finally starting to adjust a bit and only now starting to play again. Apparently string is her favourite toy for now. She’s still finicky about food choices and we’re trying to ensure she has the healthiest options so that she can last a few years more. It turned out she too has Feline Leukemia.
She’s taken over Mittens role of purring beside my head each night and begging for food, even if it is veggies. She does love rice we discovered and will lick a bowl clean. But the funniest bit is when she wags her “nub” of a tail when all excited. Although she is different and often acts like a dog, she still has a little kitten in her.
74We are golden-agers and against all advice, we adopted a Jack Russell from the Humane Society. What a difference she has made in our lives. Without a doubt, she is the smartest ‘person’ in our home. She knows what we’re going to do before we do it – no kidding. It’s very difficult for my husband to get out early in the morning to walk her, and it’s expensive to do all that needs to be done to keep her healthy, but we’ve been rewarded by her devotion to us and the fact that she makes us laugh every day. Jack Russells are not the problem that some people think. You just have to let them know who’s boss – THEY are!
75My husband came with three labs. One, Fudge, has become my little girl and she loves going places without the other two who aren’t as dainty as she is such as PetSmart, other errand, or a walk around town. Her second favorite thing is the extra lovin’ just after bath time.
76We have a 6 month old Chocolate Lab puppy with lots of energy who would just love the toy! Thanks for the contest!
77I have 3 cats, all ages 11 and up. One of them, Onyx, has cancer. I’ve spent almost $4,000 on her chemotherapy treatments and she’s worth every penny (even though its meant delaying my divorce). She would love some new stuff!
78We have a Golden Retriever and a 9 month old 115 pound English Mastiff that would LOVE to win this contest. Our dogs both love to play with stuffed Kongs
79I have a dachshund who is paralyzed. He had back surgery in September 08, but never regained the ability to walk. He is a happy little guy, though. He has his cart and rolls around wherever he wants to go. Only the best for my little Buddy.
80We have two ‘yellow’ dogs. One is a yellow lab named Aspen. The other is some sort of shepard mix, same size and color, but different shape, name Tundra. They are runners and chewers, so a Kong would be a great toy to have. Tundra loves her tennis balls and will chew and chew on them till they are crumbles. Thanks for a great website!
81If you have a lab or a bulldog those Kong Toys are the best….it is the only toy that will last with our lab.
82What a great offer!
Between our Rottweiler, German Shepherd, and Husky/Chow mix, these products could be put to good use! lol Maybe it would even help keep them from eating yet ‘another’ couch and recliner…((seriously…they’ve eaten TWO couches and THREE recliners…))
83“My boys” are such clowns…It’s not hard to visualize the chaos that would happen if we threw a single Kong between the three…
My dog Pepper is a Newfoundland/Retriever mix. His favorite thing to do is to ride in the car. He’s managed to chew every toy that he’s had along with cushions from the porch and even the mattress on my bed. I would love to have a toy that he could not destroy that would give him incentive to use up that excess energy.
84We have two cocker spaniels, Joey and Cisco. Joey is our youngest at 5 and his favorite thing to do is lay on the back of the couch. Cisco is 11. We adopted him from a shelter. His favorite thing to do is play soccer with a small basketball. He kicks the ball with his front paws and keeps it between his paws and mouth as he runs with it. I love both of my furbabies very much. Thank you for the contest.
85I have a cat (Buttercup)that my daughter loves!!! Since I am away most of the day, and my daughter is only there on the weekends, this would be great for Buttercup!!! From the moment we walk in the door all she wants to do is be loved!!!
86We have 2 German Shepherd rescues. “Jude” has a black Kong and “Dixie” has a red knock-off. Jude weighs 120lbs & will share anything but his Kong! He leaves it right on the doormat when he has to come in and picks it up when he goes out. In order to “protect” it from Dixie & the cats (who like to roll it around), he even puts it in his water bowel while he’s drinking. it’s soooo beat up, but he won”t play with anything else. Thanks for the opportunity-great offer!!!
87I have 3 dogs and kongs are the best! I’d love to win so thanks for the contest!!
88I have two cats and two guinea pigs. My cat Nia enjoys being naughty! She can open closets, drawers, etc. and is constantly getting in trouble! But, alas, she is adorable so she gets away with everything.
89My cat “Milo” came to me after my own cat “blossom” was killed in hurricane Charley in 2004. Milo is not an overly friendly cat, very picky, but I know she loves me. She cuddles up to me when I feel ill, or down and always meows a welcome to me when I arrive home. She is an older cat so isn’t very playful, but she loves ribbons and long necklaces.
I would love to surprise her and tell her she is the winner!!
90“Dogs and cats and kongs, oh my!”
91She said with one enormous sigh.
Then used a double dab of pet head
Brushed her teeth, then off to bed.
I just have to tell you how proud we are of our Angel. Yes, that’s her name. Angel is a 4 year old Basset Hound. She is one of 5 fur-kids we have. Angel grew up around Peruvian Guinea Pigs. She loves them. She will lick on them and love on them till we put them back in their cages. One day while letting her go out to potty (we have a fenced in yard) all the rest of them came back inside when called but Angel. So I looked around as I know that a Basset Hound her size just can’t hide even if they wanted to. Over on the other side of our grill was Angel laying down on the ground with her front paws out in front of her. I could see that she was licking ever so gentle on something… like she does the Guinea Pigs. After looking a bit more I could see that she had caught a wild rabbit in our yard and was loving on it like she does our Guinea Pigs. The rabbit was laying on it’s side and not moving at all. I called Angel to come here the whole time she kept on loving on the rabbit. The second time that I called her she got up and come to me. Just before she was to walk through the door to come inside she looked back at the rabbit as it had gotten up and was hopping around trying to find a place to get out of the fence. She didn’t even try to go after the rabbit again. She came on inside as she was so very happy with what she did. Angel is a very good girl that loves everything and everyone she comes across. I do have pictures with her and the Guinea Pigs.
92We have a shih-pom-poo who will be 1 year old this week. Our groomer told us to give her animal crackers instead of milk bones. They are healthier than milk bones. She said we can give her 17 animal crackers to 1 milk bone. Oreo (our dog) loves them, and we’re glad it’s a healthier and less expensive option!
93We have several dogs, but the love of my life is our dapple Dachshund named Petrie. He has eaten several black Kongs and is an incredible chewer, so this package would be great for him!
94We have 2 mini longhaired dachshund puppies at our house… Mac is 7 1/2months.. Mia is 5 months 1/2 months. They are a riot! I have never had more than 1 dog at a time and never had long haired dogs. Certainly the pet grooming item would be useful and with the economy, coupons for treats would be great! I have looked at the Kong toys when we are at PetSmart and wondered about using them. They look like neat toys… and hopefully something Mac couldn’t destroy. He is rough on toys!
95We have two black lab mixes. One, Blackie, is my daughter’s “dog”. The other was my SIL’s dog who we took when she did. This dog, Sadie Bea, was abused as a puppy, prior to my SIL getting her. She scavengers for food all the time. Our wild child, Blackie, LOVES to sit outside for hours. Sometimes he sits on the patio and sometimes he sits on the grass. When he lays down, he crosses his front paws. Funny! The dogs would enjoy the toys, and they can both use the Advanced Nutrition Foods for their continued health. Blackie is 7 and Sadie Bea is 13! Thank you for your consideration:)

I have a beautiful golden retriever, Ozzie. My husband and I bought him for our daughter on her “golden” birthday! He’s been a wonderful addition to our family. Ozzie has a Kong and he loves it! It’s the best thing to keep him busy and out of trouble when we’re not home. I would love to win another one!
97We have 3 dogs. Our oldest one has Cushings disease and diabetes, but you couldn’t tell by looking at her or watching her. I keep her exercising all the time. Our middle dog is a poodle and everyone says he isn’t a dog because he acts like a human, lol! The youngest one is a yorkie and she thinks she is the princess of the house. All of them love toys, treats and taking walks with mom.
98I would love to win this for our “rescue” Pekingese boy, Ninja, who joined us 2 years ago after living his first 3.5 years in a puppy mill. He was like a “newborn puppy” when we got him, but he loves his new life-walks, playing with his “squirelly”, and napping with mommy or daddy. He’s learned several tricks and he keeps this retired couple laughing-we enjoy him so much!
99I own quite a few dogs, all furry family, and would love to win the contest. Thanks!
100I have five cats and they love cat nip.
101I have an english bulldog that is lost and very bored right now…she lost her bulldog mate this summer, 2 weeks later i had to put her playmate down because of cancer, then when my father moved out her took his little dog. So now she is left alone during the day because the kids are at school and we are at work…she chews up everything and keeps clawing at herself. What makes it worse is that she is only a bit over a year old, thinking of getting her another companion for when we are gone and someone to play with. Thanks for this opportunity…Wendy
102A basset hound, a mini pincher, and 2 mixed breed cats……..excellent for christmas presents.
103I have an 8 year old Jack Russell, and still very active. We live in NE Ohio, and the cold weather is setting in. About 5 years ago, I put her on the treadmill with me, and to my surprise, she loved it. So once the weather turns, to the basement we head. I tell friends and family about it, and they usually don’t believe me. So when they come over, I prove it. All I have to say is, “Let’s go on the treadmill” and she runs to the basement steps waiting to get go for a walk on it. I open the door, she dashes down the steps and jumps on the treadmill and barks till I turn it on. We try to do this about 5 days a week when the weather isn’t so great. She still gets her exercise, keeps both of us warm and it’s actually a bonding moment.
104We have 3 dogs and 1 cat. The youngest dog is the happiest dog I have ever seen. All you have to do is look at here and that tail goes crazy! I am so glad we adopted her!
105I have a Miniature Schnauzer named Kasey. We adopted her 2 years ago from a rescue group. She was rescued in Upper Wi at an Amish Puppy Mill. She was 3 years old when we brought her home and had she had a long list of things she never had done in her life. Like she never played, walked on a sidewalk, walked on a leash, ate food from a dish, went up any stairs or had much human contact. For the first few months she curled up in a ball and looked at us from the corner of the room.
I am happy to report that Kasey is now a socialized little heart warmer, who will never be the life of the party but is not the wall flower she was! She loves to take walks, meet other animals and romp in our yard. She has never taken to playing with most dog toys…except her Kong! I am thrilled with this giveaway as a new Kong was on our shopping list.
Thanks for thinking of all of us animal lovers!
106With 3 dogs and 2 cats between the ages of 12-17 and all but 1 needs a medication of some kind this prize would help us out a lot. Since I lost my job we haven’t been able to afford too many “extras”. Thanks for the chance to win something extra for my “babies”.
107I can’t say I “own” any of my animals, but I am the caretaker for two dogs and a feral cat.
Both dogs are from rescue and were considered “unadoptable” when they came to me for foster as puppies. They are eight years old now, and they are a wonderful addition to my life. The cat is a stray who showed up several months ago (probably close to a year now) and who expects breakfast and dinner served PRONTO when she calls.
108My husband and I can’t have children so we’ve adopted four-legged friends. We now have a total of three female dogs (Boxer mix-Roxy, Weimaraner mix-Jasmine and American Staffordshire Terrier mix-Kayla) and a male long-haired cat (not sure on the breed). They are all very dynamic together yet completely individual. Our cat, Tru Blue has been with us since week four and we think he believes he’s a dog. After all, he has three big sisters who happen to be K9.
They’re all a joy and we wouldn’t trade them for the world!
109We have one dog and 2 cats. My dog would love the kong. His favorite toy is a rubber ball.
110We saved Bojangles from the humain society. He was on TV one November sunday morning. Having just lost my my last dog Mack after 15 years, I swore I would never have another pet It hurt so bad to lose them. My wife wanted this little dog on TV in the worst way I said no. Three days later my wife’s brother went and bought the dog for a christmas gift. I then could not say no. This little dog took to me right away and had my heart strings.
111A week later we came home to a puppy that was very sick, we took him to the vet and found out he had parvo, a virus that kills most dogs. We put him in isolation for a week, while we worried that we would lose this dog also. The good news is he made it and has been such a joy in our lives. I beleive we were sent this dog to save him. It would be nice to win the products offered here, but it was nice to tell the story.
I have two “new” shelter poodles who are about 5 years old each.
So far they have not “played” with anything yet. So winning would be great!
One is a girl and the other is a boy, which I have never had a boy dog before. Learning a lot here.
112They keep me laughing with all their clowning around.
Hope we win!

Wow! What nice prizes you are offering! My new Keeshond puppy (5 months old) could really use the chew toys as she is accustomed to ripping the plush ones to bits and likes to chase and “play” with my kitties. She also likes to get dirty so the Bed Head product would work wonders in making her beautiful coat even prettier!
113With a pinscherweener (1/2 mini-pinscher, 1/2 dotschund) and a boxer, the diversions certainly would keep at least the little guy occupied: he believes he’s the boss and the boxer thinks he is too! Just 2 dogs and it’s a madhouse!
114I Have a dog and two cats, all adopted. My dog has his own email address that I use to sign up for freebies. I swear he gets more mail than I do!
115I have two dogs, Lady is a 13 yr. old Black Lab that still likes to take a short walk but would rather take a nap. Briar our 4 yr. old German Wirehaired Pointer loves to play with all toys but really loves a long walk in the woods. Great give away!
116We’ve got two black cats in our family, Mr.B and Little Boy. Both were adopted from SCAT, the organization that has the at the nearest PetSmart. They are adorable and we love them very much. We had to be careful to make sure they would be okay around small children as my granddaughters were 2,4, and 6, at the time of the adoptions. It;s been over a year and the girls love to pet and brush the cats. I encourage everyone to adopt a shelter animal as they are special and need love so much.
117My 80 lb mutt loves loves loves her Kong!
“aw – I know you got something good in there…. let me at it! let me at it! I’ll give you paw. I’ll give you high five. I’ll give you down/stay. I’ll give you spin. I’ll do anything! Just tell me and I will! Give me that KONG!”
118I have a dog named Jax, he is 6 years old and loves his fox stuffed toy.
119.-= Caroline B.´s last blog ..Elements of Decor A to Z Series: C =-.
I have 3 dogs and we are always looking for new toys that they can destroy and eat.
120We have five cats, Kiki, Coco, Whitey, Fluffy, and Socksie. Kiki is happy as long as we obey her every whim. Coco is happy as long as we pretend she doesn’t exist during the day and we let her sleep on us at night. Whitey is happy if we give him loves and scratches when he flops down in front of us and demands attention. Fluffy is just happy, but he is happier if you get him wet food. Socksie is happy if you let her outside so she can hunt.
121I have two baby chihuahuas and 1 poodle mix. I would love to win for them. They are the most entertaining pets ever. When we have a bad day, they are always there to cheer us up. Please pick us.

122Which to choose…. I have a dog Chelsea a mixed breed rescue (maybe german shepherd mix)who is about 10 years old and now have an orange tabby cat, JJ, about 7 months old, that was given to me by someone moving out of my building that couldn’t take the kitten with.
123They have been come best friends. Currently the dog is the cat’s favorite toy. He makes up for this by letting us know the minute the dog’s food or water dish are empty. So who would get the toy if we won?
I have seven cats and one dog so all of the above would be a treat.
124i have found through trial and error that my gorgeous little bubby wubbys all love the coles brand omega rich cat bickies.not only are they cost effective but good for them too.even if you have a fussy eater everyone loves coles bickies.give them a try.at $3.29 for a kilo bag and $16.99 for a 6 kilo bag you can’t go wrong.
We have 1 cat, 1 full time dog. They like to double-team us, especially when it comes to playing with the yarn I’m trying to crochet with!
125With three dogs (Shepherd, Standard Poodle, and Eskie), four parrots (Grey, Galah cockatoo, Amazon, and Lovebird), and 8 aquariums, I’m ALWAYS on the lookout at PetSmart for new ideas to keep them all happy and entertained. In fact, the pets have their OWN monthly budget, in which we allow for treats, toys, and other enrichment activities, in addition to their regular foods. (Dogs eat Blue Buffalo; parrots eat Zupreem pellets; and fish eat Sally’s Frozen bloodworms and brine shrimp.) The dogs’ favorite toys and treats are the Kong on a rope and the real cow kneecap bones. The parrots love the Nutiberries and wooden toys to chew. And I have an oscar fish that made a toy out of a plastic cat toy ball that he chases all over the tank.
126We have a beautiful cat named Sheba. I call her my dumpster diving diva as she used to jump into the dumpsters where I used to work. She was a stray and eventually I was able to get a hold of her and bring her home. She has blessed our lives over and over again. She is our girl!
127I have 2 cats – Toni, a tiny 7 lb Torbie that was rescued from a dumpster shortly after 9/11. She is about 10 or 11 now, but you’d never know it. She is forever bringing me little “presents.” Lately those presents have been live crickets.
Woody, is a big lug of a orange tabby found under the porch of an abandoned house in 2002 by my two sons. He has the sweetest disposition for a 20 lb male, and loves his “boys.”
They would love to win this prize pack!! Thanks for offering this, Sara.
128We have 2 pets, an 11yo Staffordshire Terrier mix and a kitten. They seem to be our kids since all of ours have moved out. Rex, the dog, is slowing down some but he still loves his treats. The kitten, Sam, loves treats also.
129can’t forget those furbabies we have 4:)
130We have the pleasure of sharing our home with 2 yorkies (dogs). They have become a part of the family. Bo is eight yrs old and at 5.5 lbs has a heart of a StBernard! He protects me from everything! Molly is 2 and a joy to watch as she doesn’t have a mean bone in her little body.
131Have 2 dogs @ home. They are the joy of our household. The favorite thing they do is when there walk is almost over, we let go of the leashes and Krsytal will take Blazes leash and “walk” him the rest of the way home. It’s so cute. Never fails to make me laugh.
132Ellie Mae and Jed would love to win a contest like this. It makes there life more exciting. Ellie is our big girl. A Great Dane with a great appetite for fun and recreation. Jed is her big brother a black Lab. They would both love to share and enjoy the fun.
133We have a dog and 3 cats, all rescues in some respect or another. Our dog Lyric is part lab and part….giraffe maybe, judging by the length of her legs. She loves Kongs, so this would be a great gift for her, and the grooming product would keep her smelling pretty!
134I just started training my dogs. They are five. I guess it is better late than never.
135I have two dogs and one cat. One of my dogs Maddie loves her ball more than anything in the world. She would play fetch all day if we would let her. She even brings her ball to bed with her and sleeps right next to it.
136I have a 95lb white Boxer and a 25lb miniture schnauzer. The 3 year old boxer has brought life to the 12 year old rescued schnauzer. She is a gentle giant. I would like to switch them up to a better dog food and better dental with a Kong toy. Anything would be nice, even if only a coupon. So many entrants with more animals, I wish them all the best of luck. My pets are happy with just a rope to play with.
137I have 2 dogs – Weimereiner (Bronco) and Basset Hound (Maggie). During football season, Maggie likes to howl when our favorite team scores. And Bronco loves his treats; I think that’s his entire reason for living.
138I have a Pomeranian and 2 cats so this would be a great win! Thanks for the contest!
139I have THREE dogs!
Ace – German Shepherd
Zeus – Australian Shepherd Mix
Betsy – Pit Bull Mix
It costs a bundle to keep them in toys! Zeus even managed to destroy a Kong! Betsy and Zeus collect tennis balls that are outside the tennis court at the park.

140My Cambria is a cat. she loves to cuddle and play with toys that make sounds
141We have 1 dog and 3 cats. One of the cats is a 4 month old kitten that is having a tough time making friends with our dog and other cats.
142I am a dog owner of a pit bull dalmation and he is the cutest dog ever!! He loves playing with his tennis ball and when he cant find it or if it is stuck under something he will come and get us and whine, then lead us to where the ball is. He is very intellegent!
143I have a cat who thinks she is a dog so you can send any of the prizes
.
In an ironic twist, we named her Gatita (spanish for female cat) as a play on the supporting role of “cat” in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. If only she would realize that she is supposed to sleep all day and be quiet instead of chewing my clothes and begging to go outside.
What a great contest, thanks!
144I have 2 beautiful white Siberian huskies. One with blue eyes and one with brown. Lovely personalities=both lovers. I 20# coon cat that is 12 years old and the boss of all the animals. 1 russian blue cat that is part persian-ugly and cute at the same time. I tiger cat that we rescued from the spa as a kitten and is now 4 years old-great markings. Thanks for the contest.

146I have one cat named Maxwell Smart. He tries to be stealthy but is unfortunately the clumbsiest cat I’ve ever seen!
147I own 3 dogs~ Dexter, Daisy and Mikki. They are all rescues. I have two indoor cats~ Peaches and Speedy. One a rescue and one a stray that showed up.. We now have a new stray we named Sammy that has taken up residence in our barn. We fear the pretty little kitty is expecting! Thanks for the cool contest Sarah!
148I have a cocker spaniel who LOVES her stuffed animals. She puts them to bed each night in her doggie bed
149We just rescued a 1 year old Japanese Akita named Zeus. He has lots of puppy energy. On rainy day when he cannot get out to exercise and run toys are the next best things. We have two min-pins and their toys are not satisfying him well. He can chew them up too easy, chew bones he chews up fast also. The soft ball and tennis balls last about 5 mins and yep you guessed it ALL chewed up. The Kong is tougher and he does get bored with it. I need help with ALL that energy in that BIG body he has.
150I have a dog name Bud and a cat named Maggie. My dog was a rescue and although he is almost 70 pounds, snuggling on my lap is his favorite thing. My cat Maggie really loves her ears scratched. Thanks for the chance to win.

153We have four dogs all over 65lbs, 2 cats, 2 rabbits and 2 pygmy goats. My dog Bailey is a Rescued Rhodisian Ridgeback/Boxer cross she did battle last year with a Black Bear protecting her goats. She got some pretty bad puncture wounds from it and was pretty traumatized for a couple of weeks. She is one of the two dogs that doesn’t destroy toys. She also has the worse teeth out of the 4 so she could really use a Kong. Great Contest. – Thank you Tracy Petley
154My dog, Bailey, loves to squeak her chicken leg toy repeatedly. It’s even better for her if I’m on the phone! It’s funny how she’s just like a kid… as soon as I’m not paying attention to her, that’s when she decides she needs it… and then gets it by loudly squeaking the toy while I’m trying to talk. I’d be mad if it weren’t so funny!
155Hi there,
156I have a loveable baby kitty named Lucy that would sure love
one of the fun toys and maybe it could be her 1st Christmas present.
She loves to chase things ,especially my feet or her tail, LOL.
