BISSELL Pet Hair Broom

This contest giveaway is generously sponsored by BISSELL Homecare, Inc. (http://www.bissell.com/)

Every pet parent knows that with warm spring weather comes the start of shedding season – possibly the greatest source of their spring cleaning frustrations. Pet hair tops the list of most difficult pet messes to rid from the home, according to research from BISSELL Homecare Inc., and pet owners who let their pets live indoors say they find fur in all kinds of undesirable places, including the refrigerator/freezer, clothing drawers – even on their toothbrush.

To help tackle pet hair in your home BISSELL has offered one Pet Hair Broom as a giveaway to one lucky Frugal Village reader. This multi-function broom features movable rubber bristles that work like a magnet to attract pet hair and have the strength to sweep heavy particles. To allow for every day cleaning, it also has a set of regular bristles that reaches into corners with its angled design. This broom can be used on bare floors, carpets and rugs, so use it to tidy up all your pet’s favorite napping spots.

While you’re sprucing up your own home environment, why not freshen up your pet’s digs too? Clean his bed and kennel by sweeping or vacuuming to remove hair and dirt, laundering blankets or bedding and tossing any worn-out items that need replacing. Brush your cat or dog regularly to keep shedding to a minimum. Brushing is a great bonding experience and should become a daily or weekly habit, particularly if your pet has a long coat prone to tangles and matting.

For more tips on simplifying pet clean-up, check out the “Ask our Pet Expert” page on BISSELL’s Pet Lover’s Community.

To enter, simply post a comment below (scroll way down) that says “I want a BISSELL Pet Hair Broom” I will randomly choose a winner. One entry, per person. Contest ends May 7 11:59pm. Please read our standard contest rules.
