Keep the invitee list minimal:

If it is not a potluck party, then it is better to keep the invitee list minimal. If you want to arrange a friend’s party, then make a list of close friends whom you want to invite. Apart from saving money, it will also help you in giving personalized attention to each and every invitee.

Make personalized invitations:

If you’re thinking to buy expensive cards for inviting your guests/friends, then think twice before doing that. You can save a lot of money if you call your friends and invite them personally. You can also select e-cards and send personalized e-mails to invite your friends to the Christmas party. By saving money, you can avoid stress as otherwise; you may have to get debt settlement help to clear outstanding balances on your cards after the festive season is over.

Save on Christmas decorations:

Do you think that you need to purchase a lot of items to decorate the party space? If yes, then you’re wrong. You can very well transfer your living room into a party venue just by using items available at your home. To do so, you can use streamers, balloons and candles and hang red Christmas lights for the perfect Christmas party ambiance. Above all, decorate your old Christmas tree with the ornaments you already have at your home. It can be the center of attention of your party.

For beverages, keep alcoholic beverage as well as hot chocolate and coffee. While buying alcoholic beverage, stick to two or three basic drinks. Even if it’s not a potluck party, you can always ask your friends to bring a beverage of their choice. In this way, you can prepare delicious cocktails and/or mocktails and also have fun in preparing them.

Present homemade party gifts:

Do you give Christmas gifts to your friends every year? This year, if you want to present gifts to your invitees, then take out time and make homemade gifts. You can make decorative Christmas bags and load then with goodies or make small Christmas trees with the year marked on its base. Your friends will keep it as a memento of the party.

If you charge your credit cards for each and everything and you’re not able to pay back the outstanding balance in full, then you have to get help of debt settlement. Though it helps you in paying back debts, yet your credit score will drop a bit if you settle your debts through negotiation or with the help of a professional organization.
