I make dishes that I can store in small containers and freeze so when I am too tired to cook or know I don't feel like making anything for dinner I will take out one of these serving size frozen leftovers and put it in the fridge to thaw overnight. I will usually make a small spinach salad to go with the homemade frozen meal. One of my favorites that I make a head of time and freeze in serving size container is a low fat mostaccioli with ground turkey breast instead of ground beef. It is really simple and delicious. Just brown the ground turkey breast with a dice onion, then add a large jar of spaghetti sauce. Boil the noodles and then put the two together. It is easy and it tastes amazing and it is low fat. I will then scoop small portions out and put them in small containers to be frozen.

Try a little on the underside of the silk item. Depends on the silk itself, or whatever else is combined in the material. Does the laundry instruction say it can be washed or dry cleaned? That will be a clue.

We usually keep ours from the year before - and even stock up when they are on clearance. Each year we make TONS of peppermint bark and pulverized candy canes are great for sprinkling on top of cupcakes, too.

To remove prescription labels/store stickers use your hair dryer. It will loosen the glue and the label will peel right off.

You can also make your own laundry detergent and fabric softeners, way more earth friendly, and for an investment of about $10 you can make 30+ gallons of laundry detergent. Look online for recipes...you can add essential oils to get more smell if you want. I started making my own due to allergies and the expensive of free and clear products.
