Home Study Approved

As we are getting closer to the top of the list, they have been pushing our paperwork through and I just got an email this morning that our home study as finally been completed and approved, all we have to do is go in and sign it.
We still have to take one more parenting class per their request and we have CPR and first aid classes to take on April 5th, besides that it's the waiting game again and trying to get our bedroom remodel done before the little one gets here.

Yeah!!! Congratulations on getting one step closer to holding that little one in your arms. I remember saying (all fiend-like) when I was holding my oldest ds for the first time (at the airport), "I never want to let him go."

That is so awesome! My husband and I recently applied to be foster parents. We have 5 grown children and 4 grandchildren, but we love kids and their is such a need for good foster homes that we just feel the need to do this. If we get the chance to adopt, we will, but if we don't, thats ok too....at least we know we provided a safe loving home until mom and dad got their act together. Good luck to you and God bless you!

Yay! And I will tell you what everyone told me: It WILL HAPPEN! We adopted a wonderful baby boy at birth (he is now nine months) and is the love of our lives.
