    Default FrugalVillage Forums Light

Some folks suggested that they would prefer a toned down version of FrugalVillage.

In the spirit of frugality we have created a minimized interface for these folks and we appreciate the feedback that was provided.

To further tone down the interface you will need to tweak some settings in your control panel. This is as easy as 1-2-3.

    1. First go to your User CP. Then into User Options.
    2. Then click on Edit Options.
    3. Scroll down to Thread Display Options and unselect the image options. You can switch the interface to simple to remove some of the whistles and bells.

Here is a display of the visuals on or off.
Also a display with Enhanced interface and Plain Interface.

    Thanks Gabe,

I'm sure others appreciate going "lite".

Personally, I love all my little bells and whistles.

(and I actually thought my little jiminy cricket telling me I should go to bed was actually cute--sometimes I actually listened)

Thank you for all you do and your hard work here. I appreciate you.

Thanks Gabe. I'm enjoying all the little bells and whistles too.

Now that's a really neat forums setup. I might have to give it a shot.

Hey I thought I'd give it a whirl...not at all hard to do even for someone as 'computer sciences challenged' as I am. It is very simple and clean looking in this form of viewing.

Thanks for these options. At work it doesn't matter, but I have dial up at home, and maybe this will speed it up a bit.
