Raw Apple Cake

Recipe Description

This is a spice cake with apples. Really great with vanilla ice cream and then drizzled with caramel topping.

Preparation Steps:

preheat oven to 300 degrees
butter a 13 x 9 x 2 sheet pan

Time Needed:Ingredients:

3 cups self rising flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
3 cups cut up apples (bite sized)
1 1/2 cup walnuts (crumbled)
1 1/4 cups cooking oil
3 eggs, beaten well
2 tablespoons vanilla

Serves:Directions:

1. mix together flour and cinnamon
2. beat oil, eggs, and vanilla until foamy
3. add to dry mixture, mix well
4. add apples and nuts, mix well again
5. pour into buttered sheet pan
6. bake for one hour.

I am going to try this. I plan a Halloween party every year for a group of developmentally delayed adults at my house, so this sounds like a good recipe to serve for the party.

if any of them have an allergy to nuts, you can omit them and it still takes great.
