Yummy Apple Crisp Recipe
2-4 Granny Smith or Pippin apples
Cinnamon to taste
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. melted butter
Directions: Preheat oven to 400º. Peel, core, and slice apples (but not too thin). Place apple slices in a greased 8" square baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon and 1-2 tbsp water.
In a medium bowl, mix together sugar and flour, stir in butter. Topping should have a wet sand consistency; adjust if necessary. Crumble over apples and lightly pat down. Bake for 45 min. or until golden brown. Serve warm with ice cream, whipped cream, or whipped topping.
Enjoy!

Here's another..........
APPLE CRISP
Fruit: 6 cups peeled and sliced apples, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1 T. water, 1 tsp. lemon juice
Topping: 1 cup rolled oats, ¾ cup all-purpose flour, ¾ cup firmly packed light brown sugar, ½ cup butter or margarine (softened)
Heat the oven to 375 degrees. Place the apples in a ungreased 2-quart baking dish. Sprinkle with the cinnamon, water and lemon juice. Combine all the topping ingredients in a large bowl and mix until crumbly. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the apples. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
