    Default Bought a VitaMix today!!!

Okay...after much research and debating, I bought a VitaMix today at our local Restaurant Supply store. It seemed to be a good price and I like buying local. Anyway...please give me all your VitaMix expert advice! I know I will make yogurt/frozen fruit smoothies every day....and I haven't read the booklet yet...any advice or recipes are welcome. (this was a planned/cash purchase)

I'm sorry I have no advice, but I am seriously cosidering purchasing one as well. I want something to grind grain into flour, and I know people who use their vita mix for that purpose. Plus, it's nice to have a kitchen appliance with multi-functions. Enjoy!

Yep! I have one. It sounds like a lawnmower in my kitchen when you hit the switch! I used it once or twice and that was it.

I have had mine longer than I have had DD7 and I have used it every single day. I make fat-free sugar free iced coffee everymorning in it. I actually fought harder for the Vitamix in the divorce than I did for the furniture!

The purchase was well worth the outlay.

One of my carafes sprung a leak a couple of years ago and they immediatel sent me a new one upon the return of the broken part.

If you use your regular mixer frequently you will be thrilled with your purchase.
