My SIL and MIL both have one, they absolutely love it! It's also the Shark model. I plan on getting one once we replace the flooring in this house.

How funny that this is posted today. I purchased a Shark yesterday and used it for the first time today. I love it......so far. It was easy to put together and easy to use. I like the fact that I am cleaning with water and steam - no chemicals!

I have a Shark also....to replace the Bissel I had that leaked! And the Bissel pads wore out and got holes really fast!

We have a Shark, the one with the tank on wheels, hose, wand, and a bunch of attachments, and we love it. We've found lots of uses for it besides cleaning floors, and I think it's more versatile than the wand-style one would be.
We always use distilled water in ours so it doesn't get a mineral build-up from hard water. That would be my only advice.

~I've had a Bissell for over 5 years now. The water tank has needed to be held on with a rubber band for years now. Bad design where it rests because there's no lock to hold it in place. It will just fall out while mopping. I don't think it does as good a job getting up regular dirt and spills as a rag or sponge mop does but it really excels on kitchen linoleum and anything that has dried on.
Surfaces in the kitchen seems to get coated in an invisible(unless you let it build up for months!)grease/humidity mist that dust sticks to like glue. The steam mop gets it all up with no effort at all. Wish it had an attachment for my stove and vent hood! Never have a sticky floor again!
We paid $30 for ours at a discount store.~~Constance

I have a Shark and I think it is wonderful! Hubby likes to use the wet Swiffer pads. I HATE the way they smell and leave a sticky residue. So the dirt just sticks to it. I love walking barefoot on the floor AFTER I use the Shark.

I use swiffers to and they are okay, so does the steam mop basically do the same thing, I just worry because it doesn't have any kind of soap, does it really clean like a mop and soap?? Now that I have a baby I am getting anal!! I always see the steam mops and want one!

Can you only order it online or can you buy it in a store like Sears?
