Whirlpool used to be an excellent brand many moons ago. My parents still have the 70's washer and dryer. Hey, it works better than my modern GE appliances.

I love my freezer on the bottom refrigerator. I asked people who had them before I bought it. I haven't had the freezer on top since then probably over 25 years ago. Which do you go into more?

I have fridgidare stove, microwave, washer and dryer.
I have the gallary series. (this is there middle/higher end)
Fridgidare is actually made by electrolux.
I have not had any problems with them at all and have had them for 5 years.
The year that I got them the stove was on consumer reports list it was one of the top 10.Debra

between me and mom we have had a little of everyting, there were good ones in bad ones all throughout.
What I do now is go to Lowes scratch and dent section and see what is on sale. I live only about 5 minutes away, so I will go once a week until I find what I need at a price I can afford. Keep in mind when buying scratch and dent to check out the warrenties that come with them.total debt: $23977.09 updated 04/02/11

I wish there was a Lowes where we're moving. Alas, there's one in the entire province.
