Mine is gas, and has three large burners plus a small. The small is in the back, surprisingly.

I use all 4 burners about every night. When I'm cooking for a church dinner or holiday I often wish I had more. Christmas Eve will be one of those days I'm wishing for more.

I use 3 or 4 burners every night. One for starch, one for veggies, one for meat...and if we're having it, one for sauce or dessert. Using the stove this way I can get a meal on in the table in under half an hour if I plan right.

My oven is a bit big at the moment. I'm off gluten and don't bake a lot right now. If I do it's like one loaf of GF bread at a time. No cookies, etc. I might bake a pie or a crisp. There's just DH and I so I don't cook a lot.

i have six burners and use them when i cook for a crowd, like turkey dinner. most of the time, though, i use two burners.

10% takehome to tithe and offerings
emergency fund maintained at 3000(works for me)
    credit card debt 7500
    mortgage free
freedom accounts/sinking funds that ebb and flow
    then live on the rest!

i am trying something new. LDS church advises savings or debt repayment should be the same as the tithe. 10% each.

No natural gas here, we have a propane tank for our gas stove.

I'd keep the 4 burners but downsize to a 24" instead of the 30" we currently own...This is for designing our cabin...the fridge will be 14 cu. sq. ft instead of the 18 cu. sq. ft. we have right now as well, trying to think streamlined so I can get more counter space.

I can't remember when I use more that 2 burners @ a time. I use my roaster for big family meals & my crockpot. And of course, my microwave.

i have 4 burners and a warmer burner. I like that feature. I usually use 3 burners with one for tortillas to be heated. I would
love to have a grill feature. That would be awesome.

I have noticed that I have a lot of pots and pans but mainly
use the same 2 or 3. Anyone else like this?

Yes. I had a full Paderno set of pots and pans given to me when we were married 32 years ago. I still use them and only had to replace the skillet when it was damaged in a move. But mostly I use the large saucepan, the tiniest saucepan, and the next smallest saucepan. After that the stock pot. But truthfully the least used is the skillet and another deep saucepan that came with the set.

I use all four burning regularly, and sometimes find myself hoping for a fifth, it just is determined by how you prepare. We have a lightweight your oven and dish washer due to the equipment being fixed into a vintage cooking area. The small dish washer is never a problem, but the your oven can be a discomfort when we captivate.
