View Full Version : Rite Aid Single Check Rebate Problems

Well, either I'm a dummy, or they have a problem! (You decide.)

I signed up for an account, got a confirmation letter with my user id and password. Go to sign into the account, it doesn't like it. I try cut/paste from the letter, it doesn't like that either and then I can't try again as it's shut me out, too many unsuccessful attempts.

So....

I create a 2nd account. Irritating, but it happens like that sometimes!

I buy stuff at Rite Aid for the rebates, enter the data, manage to get in and out of that account the day I create it. Get the confirmation letter. Everything is wonderful, right?

No.

I go to sign into the account today and it won't let me as my user ID (5 characters) is too short. It must be 6 characters or more!

So, I send an email to their contact us email and get told that the user id and passwords are case sensitive and to try again. Also, if I hadn't gotten a confirmation letter, then the account hadn't been created.

I just sent an answer: I tried cutting/pasting from the confirmation email and it still doesn't work, will I lose the ability to get my $2 rebate?

We'll see what happens!

Me too!

I don't know what (if anything) I did/am doing wrong, except for the 5 letter user id, and you'd think they wouldn't send you a confirmation if it was wrong? Ok...that's my fault. :thud:
But the other? I don't get it.

I haven't heard from the person I exchanged email with. If I don't hear from them by next week midweek, I'll call the 800 number (I think there's one.)

(I used to write software documentation, I don't think I regularly have problems with software, but I suppose you never know.)

Thanks for the comment!

I have never had a problem with Rite Aids rebate system. I use it all the time. I do know about a month after the rebate promo ends for that month if you have not requested your rebate they will automatically send it to you. That's why you got your check. They always send me an email telling me when they have initiated my check when I've forgotten. I really like that because I do tend to forget to request them. If you got a check, I would suggest you set up a new account and write the info down to make sure you are entering it right. They have some really great deals and it would be a shame not to grab them. A few months ago I got about $45 worth of cold medicine, chap stick etc for free. I have also accumulated countless shampoos, conditioners, toothpastes and toothbrushes for free. It all adds up!

I believe that Riteaid has two seperate logins.

One, for the easy check rebate, is here
https://riteaid.rebateplus.com/MemberLogin.asp?next=EnterReceiptPage

And the other, for the Riteaid website, is here
https://www.riteaid.com/myriteaid/

If I remember correctly, I screwed that up too the first time I joined.
