but in our area our local tv stations offer what they call Thrifty Thursdays. You can buy certificates for 1/2 price at local eateries and plays and amusement parks and ballgames, etc.......very cool. I've ordered before and just now ordered 3 more to places we love. Woo Hoo. Just google Thrifty Thursdays, I thought it was local but they have them in lots of places. Just thought I'd share.

Our radio station offers restaurant GC's for half price on Fridays. I think it's a pretty good deal. It's something you can buy on their website, not a call-in contest.

No...never heard of this. I will check the site out.
