I really don't know a lot about it, my sister's church did a program on it and some of the members had great results. I know that it is all biblically based and that it is nationwide. I found the book at the thrift store and picked it up for .50 cents, but I have not had a chance to read it yet.
If anyone has any information I would really appreciate it.
Blessings,
Kathy

Hi, Kathy -- I did WD twice, but it was not very successful. For answers to your questions, you could check out http://www.geocities.com/hupoclo, then click on the "My Cyberhood" icon, then click on Lemeas, and finally click on Deb's (a.k.a. Lemeas) Weigh Down Workshop / Remnant Fellowship link. From what I have read, Gwen Shamblin takes Scripture out of context to suit her unorthodox views, and also denies the Trinity -- says there is only God, not God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Well, the site I mentioned can explain it far better. Deb Prescott says that WD is nothing but bad news, and the links will support this.
Also, you could try http://geocities.com/all2hisglory (NOTE THERE IS NO "WWW"!). This site is run by Sharon and she did WD; basically she stopped eating from being on WD.
Hope I don't sound too critical this early in the morning, but WD is not good for one's nutritional or spiritual health.

Thanks Julie. This does not sound like any diet I want to try. I will look at the links that you posted but from what you have already told me I don't think that will waste my time with the WD diet.
Thanks again,
Blessings,
Kathy
