I've hit upon a wedding gift that everyone needs and hardly anyone has, costs under $50, and everyone will think you are so clever.

A safe! Wal-Mart sells a pretty basic one in the office supply area, and EVERYONE needs a place to store important documents. The Wal-Mart one would easily slide under a bed.

I'm what you might charitably call 'craft impaired' and so this works for me, without taxing my brain or my wallet!

Clever idea! I may just use it, as I'm also craft-impaired.

That was one of the first items that we bought when we got married. I never thought to give on as a gift though.

Thanks.....good idea.

I have a gift to give in August too. Will check their registry first as I have to ship it......UGH!

I am a bride-to-be and I would love for someone to gift me a safe. What a great idea! :) If I had a registry, I would add it on there.
