I think mine are attached to my hip all the time, but it's not because I practice AP parenting!

Attachment Parenting is a philosophy with a foundation of creating strong emotional bonds. The concept is primarily about meeting the emotional needs of the child. It can be considered child led in many aspects of it. It fosters a strong sense of security for the child. If you have read anything by William Sears, you have a good idea of attachment parenting styles.
Some of these practices include sling carrying, co-sleeping, bf'ing. listening and responding to baby cues, no circ'ing, and gentle disclipline. (no spanking)

We practice AP, but I don't feel we follow the "philosophy" of it all. It's coincidental that our parenting style matches much of AP style.

I didn't realise it, but apparently we did/do.

When I cared for infants during their moms working day, that was my emphasis, to tell them what they were looking at, to respond when they cooed, etc.

I loved all that stuff.
