My mom had said that she was going to send us a check for Christmas but that she would be sending a small amount to everyone because of all the money she spent this year. Just to let you know, my mom could spend LOTS of money and never be broke.
But to share with you, we got the check today and what a wonderful surprise. We won't have to touch our savings at all this month!!!

Homestead Momma that is wonderful news. I have been wondering how you have been doing. I'm so glad it was enough. What a wonderful Mom you have.
We got a small check 2 weeks ago for Christmas present and we were so thankful. It's amazing how God provides when we are in need.

Hoooray! My friend, Jen got a rebate on her electric deposit today--just when she needed a new vacuum. God has helped her a bunch--she deserves it, being a single mom for FOU kids 9 and under (twins!).
