I'd like to start doing this, or at least do double batches of things so my time in the kitchen is limited.

My question is this: what recipes do you recommend for a beginner without a lot of time? I don't want to do the marathon cooking sessions, but I would like to cook a couple of things at a time to save time later.

Any suggestions, tips, or advice?

Michelle, Dozymom is the expert on OAMC. She does it all the time and with great success. I love her tips that she has.

Here is a book that I really like also in regards to OAMC. Dinners in the Freezer by Jill Bond. It has absolutely everything in there you'll need to begin and to continue. She also has recipes and then expands them to make them into OAMC.

You need to start small.....
I have the freezr cooking manual from the 30 day gourmet and I can copy some recipes for you..
What kinds of things are you looking for (like chicken, pasta's what?)

I would be happy to give you some recipes just let me know what you are looking for...

me and a friend have been trying to get togheter to do a big session but we haven't been able to so I just make a couple of what were are having for supper and freeze them..

Michelle, a few months ago I looked into OAMC and found

www.30daygourmet.com

I ordered their book and love to put meals in the freezer. I am not brave enough to cook an entire day, but sometimes I'll buy lots of ground beef and make meatloaves, meatballs, taco meat, spaghetti sauce, hamburger stroganoff, etc. Then I have lots of meals in the freezer! I haven't done any chicken recipes yet, but I'd like to!

Let me know if you need more help or want me to send you any recipes!

Good luck!

I think i am going to try starting this after the holiday too. I am also one of those that doesn't want to be in the kitchen for the whole day. (I just can't stay focused this long)
