Darlene got me to thinking about our view from the inside of our homes out.

She apparently has something that she really enjoys looking at and does so while washing her dishes by hand.

So, I thought it might be fun to post pics looking outside our kitchen windows.

Mine shows our shrub fence and I do enjoy watching the guys play basketball out back.

Since the stainglass blocks the view, this is taken 3 ft to the left.

And this is what I see most the time.

I hope one day to look out over a pretty english cutting garden and an herb garden with a few veggies.

If you need to email me your pics...I'll do my best to post them.

I can't post a pic -- but when I look out my kitchen window, I can see the trampoline, the picnic table, a large dirt pile that my dks play in, and some of the barn where our calves and chickens are. I also choose to handwash dishes instead of using the dishwasher. I love the view --- and also the fact that none of the kids seem to need my attention when it is kitchen cleaning time!! LOL

Unfortunately my view is only of the house in back of us  Someday I'm going to have a ton of land and will be able to look out over lots and lots of my gardens :)

I posted this last year, but here it is again. This is through my kitchen back door and shows a small section of the backyard.

Sara and SewCrafty....You have Gorgeous views!!!

I could wash dished by hand looking out over those lovely trees! And the snow is fabulous!

In Maryland we had a view very much like that. Deer would walk around, racoons, of course, and it was so healing.

We have been in our new, first house for a year now and I just love the view out of the kitchen window. Beyond our fence yard and a small strip of bushes, tall grass and some trees and then a back road, is the most gorgeous view of a farm field. In the summer we'll see the crop growing. In the Fall we see the big, round wheels of hay all scattered in the field and then just beyond the field are huge trees which are next to a creek. When there is some fog, the fog cloud will be really low; this cloud will be below the top of the tree but above the ground. It is just beautiful. OUr sunsets are also spectacular. The bright oranges, pinks and golds are almost unbelievable.

I watch that fence a lot...can't wait till the shrubs get tall enough not to see it.

But I Love to look outside...see the sky, watch the shrubs grow...they were so small, this is their second Fall.

I just htought it would be interesting to see the views.

Darlene,

I try to set it at no larger than 100 pixels for either.

If you have a photo editor, do that, it will seem a teeny pic, but shows up bigger than it seems.

or email it to me... thecottagerose@hotmail.com and I'll do that....

I'll help anyone get their pics up, I have the editing stuff and all...so please let me make use of it.

Hey Robin... got some Rotisserie chicken and oven roasted potato dishes that could use a little attention. Maybe you'd like to wait til daylight.:D It really is heaven on earth with all the wildlife that live around here. Deer, ducks, eagles, geese, herons, fox, birds of all kinds etc. Still can't believe we found this place. I'm always looking out the windows for something.
