WW every food has points and you are alotted a range of pts a day based on your wt. You can follow the program with out actually joining the official "club"
There is Dottie's weight loss zone with pretty much all the info you need to follow the program and you can join the WW site boards and get lots of info. And from there you can get lots of info and links to other placed that might help you.
I am in an e-mail group which helps me. Losingtogether.com (I think) it has been a while since I went there with out a bookmark.
I lost 20 lbs and have 50 more to go. I am kinda off program now over the holidays so I am sure I am up some.
Good Luck:D

I have been a WW since 6/8/02 and have lost 25.2 lbs. Still have 75 lbs. left to lose (100 lbs. overweight!). I too am a bit off program over the holidays. The nice thing about WW is that no food is "bad" or off limits; you just eat normal-sized portions instead of family-size portions! The leader I have is great -- he has lost 75 lbs. on WW and is very positive and upbeat, which helps if he's the one that records your weight! He is very UN-critical.
The WW site (http://www.weightwatchers.com) and Dottie's (http://www.dwlz.com) are great places to visit for WW information. At Dottie's she has a phrase to live by: One day at a time, no guilt, and move on!
Good luck on your weight loss endeavors! You can do it!
