I'm new to FV - married for 12 years to dh, two daughters ages 7 and almost 5 whom we homeschool. I joined the gym in mid-July (I walk 4 days/week - I'm up to 2.5 miles in 40 minutes), and I started watching my diet in September (using fitday.com) and I am down 20 pounds. Never never never in my life have I lost weight before! It was kind of amazing to see that eating right and exercise do work!
Anyway, I have another 20 pounds to go to fit into my wedding dress again. ;) I don't know if it is even a realistic goal, considering the two pregnancies and one c-section that this body has been through. But I'm going to keep at it. I feel and look so much better already.
My goals for the new year are to just keep to my program. I don't take any pills or powder. Sweets and chips are my downfall, and I need to drink more water. I'm going to look through this forum and add my comments to some older threads.
