Sara Noel 12-27-2002, 02:13 PM Gabe just bought me a bag of oranges. YUMM. One of my favorites. I like string cheese too. (so does Zachary) I have a cannister of oats. I should grab some more. (thanks for the reminder) I love cucumbers too.
I have to remind myself, that when I eat properly most of the snacks I am enjoying recently are too heavy and make me feel yucky after eating them.
aylasmommy 12-27-2002, 02:16 PM Yeah, it always feels so good to 'pig out' on raw veggies :D No guilt snacking ;)
Oh and I forgot to mention that I loove those whole grain breads :)
AmyBoz 12-27-2002, 02:26 PM I LOVE baby carrots and apples.
SewCrafty 12-27-2002, 03:18 PM I love fresh fruits and veggies, I just hate the prep work! I plan on getting plenty of both and trying to do all the prep work I can at once, so all I have to do is reach in the fridge for healthy snacks.
MJsLady 12-27-2002, 03:26 PM I love salads and frsh fruit
I used to work for a lady and I cut up and sorted all her veggies (she had a veggie platter every day for lunch) on Mondays.
She only bought her produce at Gelsens in CA, are they still there?
doodlebug 12-27-2002, 04:01 PM I like:
whole wheat bread
cottage cheese
chicken breast
salad (but I'm kinda lazy about fixing them)
apples
canned pineapple
strawberries
raspberries
white grapes
bananas
natural peanut butter
cashews
green peppers
green beans
I made myself hungry! Gonna go grab an apple:D
homesteadmamma 12-27-2002, 04:36 PM I love veggies and fruits also so those will be on my list along with:
- yogurt
- low fat cheese
- fish
- olive oil
- nuts
There won't be any snacks that are high in calories with no nutrition!!!
Darlene 12-27-2002, 04:46 PM I like many things already mentioned but need to add
~air popped popcorn.
Leiloni77 12-27-2002, 11:14 PM I like Green Beans. They are easy to make and eat and they are yummy.. I heard pickles weren't bad for you either. I love those things
i.m.cheap 12-28-2002, 12:04 AM One of my favorites is a bowl of oatmeal (I cook it in the bowl in the microwave, so easy!) with a teaspoon of creamy peanut butter stirred in. It is SO GOOD! I like oranges and apples, and black beans too. Beans are low in fat and high in fiber.

Kate117 12-28-2002, 07:59 AM I love bagels, baby carrots, apples and yougurt.
Patchworkgirl 12-28-2002, 08:46 AM I love a bowl of oatmeal (old fashioned oats) in the morning. To the oats I add 1/2 chopped apple, a few chopped raw almonds, a few dried cranberries, and some cinnamon. I do this in the microwave and it's ready in less than 5 minutes. Great for these cold mornings!
I also switched to whole wheat pasta, and I love it! Much healthier for you also!!
cody15650 12-28-2002, 09:44 AM I like fresh fruits & veggies, then next comes the can fruits, oat bread, plain pop corn, if I put seasoning on it.:paw:
