I also got a Denise Austin Pilates DVD, and an MTV yoga DVD :D

Diana, you can do it! You can do it you can do it :) (chanting in my most cheerleaderish voice)
Think of the great feeling you'll get once you get that 'high' off exercising...I swear I get the good goosepimples all over me sometimes when I do a workout :)

If it helps, try what I did when i started getting back into exercising...start out with some stretching..sitting on the floor just touching your toes ...things like that..legs apart and touch your toes, standing and bending over touching your toes, then criss crossing your legs and touching your toes, just as far as is comfortable for you..do that for ten minutes every day and then you'll (hopefully) become more energized and limber to do workout tape :) There was something about that stretching that just made me breathe deeper and feel more motivated to start working out :)

That is sooo cool.. I'm off to get the W.A.T.P. videos & belt here in a few... and look at treadmills & weight systems at Sears...mall walking too, I hope. Yesterday we couldn't find a parking space cause they were running a mall-wide after Christmas sale.. people were even parking along the driving lanes and up against the snow piles...

Yay for you Heather! I want the Windsor Pilates tapes......I'm gonna get em too. Hoping to find em on ebay for 1/2 price or maybe at a garage sale. In the meantime I can walk on the track that is directly across the street from my front door!

Awesome presents! I agree with what you said about the stretching Heather. I want to get some yoga tapes to work on stretcing.

I watched a Yoga Zone show on tv summer before last when we were traveling. I couldn't do all the stretches as I was preggers with dd, but I really felt energized afterwards. (and that was after a nite in a motel bed!)

Awesome!
do you like the yoga dvd? I would love to start yoga... I'll have to check the library to see if they have any I could compare to each other.

Heather, I am jealous. I have seen those "Firm" infomercials and have thought about getting them. Let me know how you like them. I may have to order them. I listen to them tell of great results in a few weeks.

sorry it took me so long to share how I liked the MTV yoga tape

It was great! it flowed a LOT smoother than the yoga tape I was using...and it had different moves that seemed to really stretch parts that weren't getting stretched with my other video, the whole routine seemed similar in general so it wasn't hard at all to follow along :) But it was definitly more of a challenge but not too much i couldn't do it..

Oh the one thing i loved was how good it got my hamstrings stretched out :)

And I LOVE the FIRM! :) I love that fanny lifter I swear i can already tell a difference in that ever hated area (bottom of buttocks meets top of thigh) :) I am a little awkard with some of the moves, but I love a challenge! :D

I'm keeping my eye on the Firm at Target. I can't afford it yet, but I'm sure it will come down in price eventually. It looks like a great workout. :thumb:
