I love to latch hook and try to do 1 big project a year. I bought a kit last year (on clearance, of course;) ) and worked on it for a little while.

I have started working on it again a couple of days ago and am enjoying it very much. It is a picture of a wolf and a tree. Last year I completed a huge round one of a wolf and snow in the background against a blue sky.
My only problem, is after I have done all this work, I CAN'T put them on the floor as rugs-I use them as wall hangings!! LOL
My oldest daughter loves wolves, so I have been doing them for her to hang on her wall.

Does anyone else latch hook??

I have several i bought at yard sales, I use to love to do that, but lately i just can't seem to get my self to do it. I bet those are gorgous though, my dad would love them. I couldn't put them on the floor either! all that work you put into them. Have you thought about making pillows out of them? just an idea.

I have always loved doing them in the winter time, they get so hot in my lap it's hard to work on them in the summer time.

I used to love latch hook. My last project I bought the mesh canvas myself and drew my own design on it and hooked it. (rug)
I cut my own yarn too. I should start another one this year. Would be neat to do something for the children.

I haven't done latch hook in years. It tears up the side of my hand really bad, so I gave all my stuff to my nephew a couple of years ago. He loved doing it although he is 16 now, so I don't think he does it anymore. LOL
