What color are your moldings? (same as walls or different) Also, are your doors same color as the paint in your rooms?

Our ceiling molding match the doors (wood color) and the floor moldings match the walls. We only have floor moldings in the bathrooms and kitchen/dining area. None in the carpeted rooms.

Since we rent our house all the walls are white. I think if I ever buy a home I'm going to paint all the walls a different color!!! I'm tired of white!!!

Base boards and windows are stained wood. Walls are painted or wallpapered. Doors are also stained wood. Celings white popcorn.

All our mouldings are painted an off white and the walls are different colors with the ceilings painted white.

I heard on a decorating show one time that mouldings/window frames and doors should all be an off white rather than a stark white because if they are stark white they draw you to the mouldings rather than to the room as a whole.
