What do you pay for home insurance.

We pay $385.00 a year and this year it went up again.

I'm just wondering if that is reasonable or close to what others pay. Our home is 1500 sq. ft, near a fire hydrant and replacement value is at $135,000.00.

We pay about 385.00 a year..... We have a hydrant near and smoke detecters and CO detecters and made some inprovements that have saved us money..... It's high because I have a franklin wood stove, It's big, antique and beautiful !!!!!!

I'm getting a discount because I have everything with the same company, and honestly I don't have as much coverage as I should have, I do need to have a review with my agent, but we pay $300 a year. which will be going up when I redo my policy.

We're also paying about $300.00 a year and it covers everything- full content of the house, outbuildings, you name it. Our house is a mile from the fire dept and is about the same value as yours. So you're in the ballpark.
