I am curious how many of you found Frugal Village, so decided to do a poll.

A favorite board I go to each day is not working today (or yesterday) for some reason...I was up at 3:45 this morning to get the turkey in, and once I put it in, had plenty of time for the computer (Did all the baking yesterday so just had turkey, stuffing, taters, gravy, and veggies to do today). Was searching for something and went to this one from MSN search engine...format is the same as the other board I'm used to (and enjoy) so I stayed to play.

All I can say is I"m glad I found this site. I have posted a lot of recipes and met some super nice people here. Hope everyone here has a good holiday season. :angel:

I'm with pat123123, my favorite board is down off & on & I was looking for something similar and saw this link on another page and decided to check it out.It's set up very similar so I like it.

Hi! I'm new here. I used to go to Frugal Moms, though I didn't post alot, mostly just read. I couldn't afford to subscribe and I've really missed having some place to just sit and read advice and such. Today I typed in "frugal forums" on the Yahoo search engine, stopped by the Frugal Family Network, clicked their link page and happened upon this site! I'm really excited and will look around a bit more!

I was reading advice on another forum & somebody had said this was a great site, so I wrote it down and checked it out, and here I am, but I'm not real sure on what I'm doing.

I see a lot of familiar names here. I used to go to frugalmoms, decided against paying the fee. I found this through a search engine. (I was going through frugal forum withdrawals):toothy:

:D I just found this site today while surfing around trying to find coupon/rebate sites. Looked this one over and liked what I saw and the warmth that seemed to eminate here...so have decided to register and stay for a while. Posting here is just like on a freebie sample site I belong to. If any of you are interested in this site, I've gotten lots of free stuff, including full size products for no cost to me but that of my time.
Anyway, thanks for setting up this great site. I will be recommending it to some select friends!

I was looking for some frugal sites and I came across this one.

I was on another website last night, don't remember which one, and just started folling links and stumped about usave2day. I just wished I would have found this site at the beginning of the year. I also see alot of familiar names here.

I found this site at another site I go too. But I like the people here, they are very friendly & helpful. I use to come in & look around but the more I came, then I decide to join & I'm so glad that I did.

I found it through a search engine for a paid email !!

Am a farm-grown Calif gal,married to a Texan, living here in Texas since 1996 and loving it here. Love to cook,create new recipes,cooking contests,gardening flower and veggies, have a household ranging from 75 to 18 months and new grandbaby on the way(may be twins!) daycare 4 grandchildren 5 days a week, sew and craft, love all crafts, homeschooling the kids this summer, would love any craft or activities for kids between 8yrs and toddler. I am a member of the About Frugal Living Forum and another member referred us to this site. I have been a black belt tightwad for five years and enjoy every minute of it. Now the problem I have is I have run out of ideas on ways to save money.

I hope to be able to find some new ideas as well as share some of my ideas. I'll be posting again as soon as I have had a chance to review what is already here.

I followed the link from "the not just beans" website. I too am from frugal moms but was looking for a new place to become involved with and meet new people.:smball:

I found this site by searching for freebies. I'm so glad I did, this forum is awessome.

It was actually an accident. I had gotten an email for a free IQ test and took it. Then I did a google search for comparisons. One of the links was for a thread where some of you gals had taken the IQ test. I looked around a bit and registered.

I did a search and found it. I like to explore - sometimes I strike out, other times I strike gold. It seems like I'm finding precious metal here. I'm looking forward to checking this all out. :)

Have been looking at heaps of frugal type sites and I tend to be a person who sees a link and just HAS to have a peek cause that site may be the best one yet and If I don't I might miss out on something toooo good...so here I am...

I didn't even realize that's what the name of this site was. How goofy is that? LOL! I entered it in the browser and it brought me here. Learn something new every day.

Anyway, I found this site by searching for frugal forums. This was the first one to pop up. :)

I think that I ran across this site on a yahoo search and checked it out. Also, I have saw the site mentioned on RMC - I think on the off topic board. Anyways, glad I found it cause I love it!!!

My SIL told me about it and after a few months I finally remembered to join. I am glad that I did.

(My hubby was already complaining about me being on the computer all the time, now it looks like I'll be on even more)
