**SERVING IDEA: form a "bowl" for serving dip by scooping out the center of a round, unsliced loaf of bread. make croutons or bread crumbs from the bread when it has served its purpose as a "bowl."

**PREPARATION IDEA: when grating cheese, brush the grater with oil or spray with non-stick cooking spray for easy clean up.

**SERVING IDEA: appetizers served individually on toothpicks can be stuck into a grapefruit for an easy, attractive way to serve.

**PREPARATION IDEA: freeze stale bread and then grate the frozen bread to use as a vegetable or casserole tooper as needed.

**SERVING IDEA: many cooked vegetables taste wonderful just tossed with margarine. add variety to the margarine with spices. for example, add 1 tsp. celery seed or 2 TBS. grated parmesan cheese or 1/4 tsp. garlic powder to 1/4 cup margarine.

**SERVING IDEA: lemon butter sauce is complimentary to many hot fish entrees. to make, cream 1/2 cup softened butter and gradually add 3 TBS. lemon juice.
