And if you have, can you post your recipe here. I want to try some new recipes with freshly ground grain and want to see if I can adjust regular recipes to make a loaf of bread. We really like our recipe but its nice to have a change every now and then.

Me!!!! I don't like the way my bread comes out in the machine!!! I have been using the Amish White Bread recipe for months and my family loves it.
I promise to come back and edit my post with the recipe this afternoon!!!!!

Well, I use my bread machine to mix the dough, but I rarely use it to actually bake the bread. I usually make a sponge, starter or poolish in the bread machine the night before and let it sit out overnight. Then the next day, I add the rest of the ingredients and have the bread machine make the dough. Then I bring out the dough, shape into rolls, loaves, or use my La Cloche, let it rise and bake it.

i've been making the basic white bread recipe from the not just beans cookbook. i didn't have good luck with the amish white bread recipe. the middle wasn't cooking through but the crust was getting too brown. with tawra's recipe, it comes out just right.

Me, I haven't bought a loaf of bread since september!!
I have been making the Amish White Bread recipe, I think you may have that already....and it may be the same one mom2knk uses.
