View Full Version : What do you use to wash your walls? Michelle 11-28-2001, 10:44 PM I have semi gloss paint on mine and am wondering what the best thing is to use on them to get them super clean. TIA! :swave: heaven 09-28-2002, 10:07 PM I just use purple power I love that stuff just make sure it is duluted you can find it at NAPA (try a spot first to make sure it doesn't hurt the wall though) QuilterMom 09-28-2002, 10:17 PM I just use a soft cloth and water - we have eggshell finish paint and that's all it takes. captclearance 09-28-2002, 10:59 PM I found this generic orange cleaner at Dollor General , I don't care for orange clean but this one works without leaving any runs on the walls.... bamamomto4 09-28-2002, 11:52 PM You mean people wash their walls???!?!!?!?!? Heeheee I'm kidding! Chelle,I think my walls are semi gloss to and all I use is a wet washcloth. Now for a deep down ceiling to floor cleaning....I dunno! creampuff 09-29-2002, 02:31 PM http://www.howtocleananything.com/ this is a site I like to refer to. PrairieRose 09-30-2002, 12:22 AM I like murphy oil soap myself. heaven 09-30-2002, 01:01 AM oh i love murphys it reminds me of kindergarden the first time i went to school that is how the halls smelled. Sad hu??? !!!!!!!! LOL Karla 09-30-2002, 01:35 AM I always used spic and span mixed with water did a good job, I have a flat finish on my walls right now that doesn't wash very well. I can't wait to paint over them with a semi-gloss. |
