WOW! We can order a yearly update to the TG! How cool!

To order send $1 and a self-addressed UNstamped business-sized envelope. Please specify that you want the 2002 family letter. (the newsletter says 2003 but that is for next year so ask for the 2002) If possible send a $1 bill rather than a check, checks cost 10¢ to deposit. Mail to.....

Has anyone ever done this before? Is it like a family newsletter or more tips?

Huh! I thought Amy had given up the Gazette! I wonder if it's her or if someone else took over. Well, I'll certainly be signing up!

from what i remember hearing, it is a yearly update. some of it has to do with what is going on with her family. some of it maybe info that you can find in teh books, but sorta updated, ie how she is doing something now. i'm not sure how much brand new stuff is in it, but it's not all just restating whats in the books.

I ordered it once, and it was kind of like those letters you get at Christmas from people you only hear from once a year. The one year that I got it, she just copied emails that she had written to friends and family throughout the year and compiled kind of a "Year in Review" out of it. Frankly, it was a disappointment.

That was a couple of years ago and my only experience with it, so I don't know if that is still what she does.

I am a long time fan of the TWG. I get that family newsletter every year since the newsletters ended.

In her last official newsletter was the info on the yearly update. She also did a review of all the other newsletters out there for those of us who really wanted to get a newsletter etc.. There was an address change at that time so dont use the old address from the newsletter days.

Its basically what projects shes done through the year.
Her travels. Shes very close with a former subscriber that met through the newsletter. That lady is in Canada and she talks about her a lot and her travels to see and help her.

Amy still runs the Grandge (spell).
Its like what we call a thrift store here.
I love hearing how the kids are still doing well and havent changed money wise etc....

Its well worth the dollar I think :)
