After reading KathiS's thread on what she found at the thrift store, I decided to drive into the closest little town and visit ours today. Dd and the neighbour came with me.

For dd I got her a pair of slippers for 50¢

The biggy was:

A Sanyo ghetto blaster worth $159.00 at Walmart for (drumroll please) $10.00.

It was in the original box and even has the instruction book with it. I checked to see if it worked at the thrift store and it did. The best part about this is we've been trying to get a radio station in from Minot, ND and never could with the cheap little radios (we have 2) that we have in the house. We can now bring in tons of radio stations and Minot, ND is one of them!!!!

Calico, I'm not sure where I can get yet, but I can get Minot, ND and thats the station I wanted. Were only about 1 hr. 15 mins. or so from Minot.

Were watching tv and the shuttle right now, but once this is off the tv, I'll be playing around and seeing what other stations I can receive.
