TheCottageRose 02-12-2003, 02:50 PM Sherry, I make it by adding a handful or two of shredded cheese and spices to the recipe for either cornbread or rolls. OR Roll the dough out like you would for Cinnamon Rolls and cover the dough with cheeze, onion powder (minced onions or sauteed), and a touch of garlic and salt (what ever herbs your family likes) and roll the cheese up in the dough, and slice off in 1 inch slices. Then spray with Pam and let rise for 45 mins or so and then bake. Mommy2Tyler 02-12-2003, 05:42 PM Mmmm Thanks Melissa! Wonder if I could just add some grated cheddar cheese to me regular bread recipe? missytata 03-10-2003, 11:39 PM :smball: VERY easy cheese biscuit recipe that i make all the time (got it from taste of home mag): 2 cups self rising flour 1 cup grated cheddar cheese ( or whatever cheese you like) 1 cup milk 4 tablespoons mayonnaise 2 teaspoons salt in a small bowl, combine flour and cheese. stir in milk and mayo until just moistened. fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full. bake at 425 for 17-20 mins or until golden brown. Makes 10 to 12 cheese cups. (these are also good with garlic powder added to mix). Hope you enjoy! Mommy2Tyler 03-11-2003, 01:27 AM Thanks missytata! I just may try these tomorrow. Can I use all purpose flour? |
