Our agent called last night to let us know that the sellers of the condo we wanted didn't take our offer. The accepted an offer that was more than ours. I was a little bummed last night but I also can't blame them for wanting more money. I did a lot of praying and knew that there was a reason we didn't get it...something better will come along for us. Malcom said not to worry too much, that it is all a learning experience and we'll find something else. Hopefully it won't take too long but you never know. It seems that a lot of people are bidding a lot more on the homes that they are asking for. We just won't do that. We are getting a VA loan and VA will only pay what the house is appraised for. If possible we want to put as little amount towards the house as we can. Just wanted to keep ya'll updated. Thanks for the good thoughts and well wishes. Now, back to the streets to see what we can find. :D

**Malcom came home last night and he told me a guy from his work said that we should be thankful we didn't get the condo we put an offer on. He said that there is a sewer plant in the area and during the summer time all you smell is.."you know what" YUCK!! We would have been so upset!! ****

good luck, daphne!! we know how difficult it is to find a house. when we bought ours we live in now, we were looking at house froma whole other state. we searched online, newspapers, house books, and through a realtor. it is tough, but you will find something perfect for you both!!:D

We were probably outbid on 3 houses before we got ours, and the one we got was actually the best deal and the nicest of all. I know how frustrating it is, but it is worth it. Learn from each of these experiences, it will help you fine tune your search and your priorities. Good luck!

I'm sorry that you didn't get this one. You'll get one, though, and you'll love it even more than this one! The more you shop, the more you know. It's a stressful experience, but at the end of the day, a great one!

I put in an offer and had it countered too high and then found my first home afterwards within a couple of weeks. I was so glad I ended up there vs. the first place I put an offer on.
I'm sure it was disappointing, but you'll find your home soon.
