OK so there were loads more hitches than I thought there would be and it was MUCH harder work than I imagined but I'M HERE!

I'm not strictly 'on-line' yet, this is blocking my phone line LOL but I couldn't resist coming in and telling you all - it must be love (or addiction LOL) I think I get on-line proper next week?

I have bigger windows here which means I get lots of light in the daytime which I REALLY love but it also means the house is colder at night and I'm not good in the cold, however the light is well worth the price! The other house was so dark and awful.

I did 8 Car FULL trips to the dump before I came here as this house is much smaller and I knew I had to, however I now have stuff everywhere!!! I think I may still have to carry on pairing down!

So now I am completely exhausted, I have been preparing for today all week, and I have boxes all around me but everything IS here! Back to the old house tomorrow to clean before I hand back my keys and then more unpacking.

Thank you all so much for all your good wishes :) and support through this move. It's been very hard work (which still isn't over) but I do think in the end it will be worth it.

When I'm more settled I'll try and post some pics.

Thanks for the good wishes gals :) You are all wonderful!

Heaven - if someone had said yesterday 'this too shall pass' I think I would've hit them! LMAO! I really do love the light in this new house, I had the lights on 24/7 in the other house even in the summer, it's so depressing!

Angie - you know me well LOL - I nearly cried for real the first time I went down the dump! LOL - I felt so proud after I had done it all and now I'm still drowning in STUFF!

Never mind I'm sure I'll sort it all - ONE DAY :D

Bev, so glad you are all moved but don't envy you the unpacking. Put on some music, let the sun shine in & take your time unpacking. The stuff isn't going anywhere :)

When you need a break take a bath in epsom salt. That is what I do when the work I have before me or behind me was strenuous, it will help your achy muscles. Glad you're back I too missed your posts! Can't wait to see pictures...

Glad to hear you are gettin settled in. It is a had job moving everything yourself! Hope you get settled in soon. Hugs on the trips to the dump. I used to be so emotional about stuff. (who needs elementary school papers in highschool?) I love natural light as well. It drives dh crazy. I think he could live in a cave! LOL

Oh I am so happy for you. The natural light will be so great. I am moving to a smaller place too so when I start clearing stuff out you will be my inspiration to take those things to the dump!

Glad you are moved in and hope that settling in goes by quickly for ya. I'm glad you have more light. I live in a lot of shade and am not used to it. It really makes me feel blah some days. I miss a nice bright sunny room. Thanks for the update. :)
