finicky little poodle that gets very upset to the point of getting really sick when you leave her, would you mind taking her with you? My poodle girl is very well behaved for the most part. She's housetrained, sweet natured, loves everyone. But everytime I leave her she gets sick. Not if I leave for a few hours but if I pack a bag, she starts getting very nervous and then makes herself literally sick (not throwing up) but she will have loose stools and just lay around or slink around with her head down. Even if dh is here, who I swear she prefers over me. I've been thinking lately that I'm going to have to take the little stinker with me. I don't mind her going so much but I have a fear of something happening that would cause her to get lost in a strange town or something.

Poor little dog!! Daisy - my dog - gets that way when Malcom leaves but not as severe. She will be sad for a few days and won't eat as much but she will not get too bad. I don't know what kind of advice to give you - some dogs are just so sensitive to things like that. I hope she does ok when you leave again. :D

Look into Rescue Remedy. It is a calming herbal supplement you give your pet--"doggy downers"! Seriously, I know people in rescue who SWEAR by this!
