I woke up this morning to my middle kitty Mister (below) meowing differently then normal. He was under the bed and wouldn't come out. We had to take the mattresses off of the bed to get to him and even after some pets he didn't want to move. We took him to the vet and within 5 seconds after the vet touched him, he said, " You're kitty has an obstructed bladder" We will need to put him to sleep and flush his system.

Here's the irony. About a week and a half ago I switched the cats food to Purina One's Urinary tract health/hairball formula.
I told the doctor this and he said, there's nothing wrong with the Friskies that you've been feeding him for three years!

We went to go see him a few hours ago. They need to keep him overnight to make sure he is safe to go home.

Anyway, thanks for listening!

Hope your Mister is feeling like his old self soon.:)
My cat is on the purina for UTI's and it's the only thing I can feed him. He hasn't had a urinary problem in years thank goodness. It was trial and error to find what worked for him & a few expensive trips to the vet too. Too bad they can't talk & tell you when they aren't feeling well and where it hurts.:cat:

Well $400 later.....
He is doing great. We have to give him drops twice a day to break up the potassium in his bladder to make sure a blockage doesn't form again. The vet prescribed pruina proplan for urinary tract health and he said its the best... so we will see.
Thank you so much for your hopes and compliments. He will be so happy to know how cute everyone thinks he is!!!!!

LOL actually that's the car I am saving up for. I should have it by September. Thank you for your compliment. I love the 350Z! They are coming out with a convertible in 2004. I like it, but it's even more expensive...
