Dh and I have had some bad pie experiences in the past. *LOL*
One year we got a pecan pie that was just horrible. Another year we got a coconut custard that I swear tasted like scrambled egg pie. :-(

I am capable of baking pies myself, but seem to always buy them.

My husband has a co-worker that makes a better pie than I can ever even dream of making myself, so we will be getting one of her pies. We had her dutch apple for Thanksgiving and it was just awesome.

I need to buy a pie for my picky stepdad. I have not yet mastered the pie making thing yet. Maybe next year. :)
