Breakfast Rice

The New McDougall Cookbook, page 90

1 cup long-grain brown rice
1 cup unsweetened apple juice
1 cup water
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 Teaspoon ground cinnamon

Combine all of the ingredients in a sacuepan.
Bring to a boil, cover, reduce the heat, and cook for 40 mintues. Let rest for 10 minutes beforeserving.

This may also be made in a slow cooker overnight.
Combine all of the ingredients and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
