I looked in the paper and there was 2 indoor yard sales today....well, i had to go....i am so excited...yard sale season has started...this is what i got, it was all $5.00
A huge wicker basket-going to use as a hamper in babys room
a pocket book
a small wicker basket
3 old fashion aprons
A silk scarf-its so pretty
a large container of buttons and needles
a large container of thread
I hope there are even more next weekend...it was rainy today....yard sale season usually starts in March here.

i know how u feel..i was so excited last summer when i found a black leather purse for 50 cents and nice beach towels for 50 cents each i think i go 10 or 12. i really needed a new purse and coming off a long unemployment period i was really carefull with my money

Those are great buys Cornelia. I can't wait for "the season" to start here. It usually starts in April and goes through October. I am going to some thrift stores with DH tomorrow, I hope I find some bargains.

I want to go yard saling. We have too much snow for it. can't wait for them to start. great job saling though.

DH is dying for yard sale season to start here. Fridays are our time together and Saturdays if a town close by is having community wide sales.

I want to go yard saling too. Great finds.
We don't get to go until around the first part of May, late April if we have nice weather. Can hardly wait.

i went to an inside yard sale(at local church) and think those people are insane. the prices were too high..a really nice bed spread set was selling for 25.00.it was like new but 25 i can buy new for 30 or less on sale..
i cant wait for the "real" yard sale season starts
