My ds loved his blues clues puzzle and fingerpaints. He really loved Mr Potatohead too. He liked silly six pins bowling game, but preferred knocking them down by hand vs rolling the ball. *LOL*
These were the highlights of his day. The other things he opened, but really liked these things.

I got the kids each a tee-shirt from the local Family Christian Bookstore and books for the readers; a CD went to one niece, as she enjoys Stacy Orrico and I knew the gifts would be parent-approved.

My kids are the only grandkids on both sides. Dh and my parents are both divorced and remarried, so that equals a lot of presents. They got so much stuff, a lot of it hasn't even been taken out of the package. Unlike what a lot of people think, a child getting tons of presents isn't good for anyone. The kids were overwelmed, especially our 3 year old. They got to the point that they were not even interested in their stuff. They would just open the present, push it aside and grab for the next one. And...Mom ends up with crabby overwelmed kids and a mountain of stuff to put away. :(
But on to the question, what was the kids favorites...
Dd got a 24 inch Mickey Mouse, that she loves. She also loves her Magna Doodle, plastic braclets and books. A small carrying case that had a couple of beanies in it gets an honorable mention. The beanies have been banished to the toy box already, but the has been using the carrying case to haul stuff down stairs.
Dsons favorites are a activity table, a ride on firetruck that opens up, a ride on tractor that opens up and a couple of chunky cars.
All of the kids enjoy a keyboard that dh grandpa picked out.
And my favorite is.... a new toy box to put this stuff in.

DS' favorite was the 2 motorized Tonka trucks that make too much racket (they have back-up alarms, sirens, lights, all of which go automatically). I hate them, the trucks will be in the living room or kitchen going off while he's in his bedroom playing with something else. Uggghhhh!!!

My ds received a Kid's Connection Tool Kit, in which all the tools work, his favorite is the drill as it works on some take apart trucks he received for his birthday. The other is a Etch-a-Sketch that makes noises when drawn on. He has been taking it everywhere we go.

dd is 13 and her favorite this year was the shower radio. If only we liked the same music!
