Tomorrow is the day we have been waiting for!! I can't believe how quickly we got it!! It was ordered on Monday and we have it tomorrow at 10am. They usually take 2 weeks to get someone to do this. We had the terminte inspection yesterday and everything went well with that!! :D

Please keep us in your thoughts tomorrow as we go thru this. We really want this place and so far everything is going well. We just hope it appraises for what we offered or else we don't get the loan from VA. If it doesn't appraise for the offer we put in then the seller has to come down on the price - if he doesn't then - no house. I'm a little - ok - a lot nervous!!!

I'll keep you updated and thanks for all the great thoughts and prayers you have given Malcom and myself thru this first home buying experience!! :D

I'm thinking about you and your excitement over this new place. Purchasing my first home ranks up in my top ten happiest moments of my life. I hope everything goes well with the appraisal. Do you have an estimated closing date?

The day we are wanting to close and what we put in the contract is March 31st....very close!!

I just returned from the appraisal and had a good cry!! The appraiser was very nice to me and told me I could follow him around, ask questions, etc. Then the seller came in right at 10am (the time it was to have started) and the appraiser was done in the inside and was heading outside to finish up. The seller was so surprised that he finished so quickly inside. The appraiser wasn't very kind to the seller and I just sat there dumbfounded!!! I was stressed enough as it was and that just made me more nervous when he got nasty with Greg - the seller of the home. And to top it off,I had to go alone because Malcom was stuck at work. I called Malcom when I got home and he asked me all kinds of questions and then made the comment...I should have been there. I lost it. I told him that I try my best at this and it's not an easy thing. I think he thought I lost my mind because he wasn't being mean - he just made a comment. He said I'm doing a great job at all of this home buying stuff. I'm just stressed about it so everything seems 10x's greater right now!! I didn't even stay for the entire appraisal (I didn't have to be there to begin with)...I just didn't know what else to do or say after the guy changed personalities. So now I have to wait for days (hopefully not too many days) to find out what happens.

Sorry this is just a "blah" post and it probably doesn't make sense but I'm just nervous and a little stressed right now. Like always...I'll let you know what else we find out. :D Thanks for all of your support!!
